Pues la verdad creo que no notaras la diferencia levantandolo un poco con unas arandelas.
Lo mejor que puedes hacer el ponerle el ductin mod, barato y eficaz.

En mi caso no aumenta el rendimiento, pero el ruido si que se reduce bastante. (sobre todo con el ventilador al maximo)

Eso es el famoso ducting mod del volcano9, es efectivo, quita ruido y mejora algo el rendimiento, y no cuesta dinero (3€ creo). Si haces eso y le quitas la odiosa rejilla que no hace más que molestar conseguirás mejorar bastante el rendimiento.
