Nod32 y agnitum outpost, va bien aunque el cortafuegos me hace demasiadas preguntas sobre cambios en aplicaciones, cosa que con el sygate no pasaba, pero el sygate esta muerto.

AVG Free + Cortafuegos de Windows.
En todo caso con el router y el OSX Tiger no tengo problemas.

Despues todo depende de las paginas web donde entres.

Usando windows, la primera linia para mi es la mas comoda, aqui le sumas el Ad-aware y el Spy-boot, como te han comentado, no los otros que normalamente te instalan mas porqueria de la que quitan y a navegar.

Yo uso el NOD32 y me conecto detras de un router que solo tiene abiertos los puertos esenciales (como cortafuegos): llevo mas de dos años sin formatear mi PC y va como el primer dia.

Mi caso: Linux + router multipuesto + sentido comun. De todas maneras, en breve me pondré a mirarme las iptables.

En el caso de usar windows: Un buen firewall (outpost, por ejemplo) y un buen antivirus (nod32 como residente) son obligatorios. Un anti adware (ad-aware, spybot, etc..) casi obligatorio. Usar un navegador alternativo a IE (firefox, opera), usar un router en multipuesto con todos los puertos posibles cerrados, etc… Depende de cuanta necesidad de seguridad tengas.
