Las ABIT son posiblemente las placas que mas jugo les vas a sacar haciendo overclocking con una gran estabilidad para eso cuestan lo que cuestan.
Por parte de la IT7 MAX acaban de sacar la IT7 MAX II y solo le veo un fallo que tiene solamente 4 PCI mientras que la otra tenia 5.

Si lo que quieres es overclock pasa de la memoria RIMM, tiene más ancho de banda pero es malísima para subirla de fsb. Además, ASUS tampoco es que sea la mejor placa para overclock, por esos precios te recomiendo una placa ABIT con chipset Intel 845E y memoria ddr333 de marca, te subirá mucho más y el ancho de banda no es lo único importante en las memorias, puede que te de incluso mejor rendimiento.

Te recomiendo, por esos precios, memoria Mushkin pc2700 (creo que costaba 210€, pero no se, por ahí hay otro post del tema) y la placa base ABIT IT-7 max o max2, si no te interesa algo tan "extraño" (no tiene puertos serie) lo mejor, o la BD7-II o la SR7-8X (chipset SiS 648). En cuanto a la tarjeta, mejor que esa tienes la radeon 9000 (mira precios y compara con la 8500) y si subes de precio la Ti4200. Si quieres gastar menos en placa mírate las Epox, están muy bien.
