I stick a pin to the branch and hang up the one from 06.

By the way Javier. your last result in the Superpi is with a Phenom II X6 1090T @ 4.63, you have switched to Intel as I see, right? Let's see if you pass the Spi and post the result, it seems like you are waxing it :sisi:
Nice equipment, also go to the branch of Global overclock database in HL - HardLimit
-
And after going through all those threads you pass by my house and leave the graphic XD.
-
well with a little O.C. and soon I will install windows and see if it improves something or not

PD: when I want to update my result, how do I do it?

Don't listen to Bm4n, he's a scammer;D With that team you're going to have a great season. I wouldn't change anything for 4 CPU-heavy games that you can play well and comfortably if you relax a bit

-
In the first post you click on results, and then "Go to spreadsheet view" as you already have permissions as long as you are "logged in" to google you can edit the table.

I disagree with the advice. That micro slows down the 6870 a lot.
That graphics card has more power than it gives you.If not, try Crysis 2 in DX11 and you'll see the result. It's a very demanding game, but that's what it's about.
Knowing the potential you have.Regards.

There are very few games that notably limit to 1080p. Crysis 2 moves well at full with a 6870 but with a good micro, it won't be a problem to relax a bit with the 4 games of the moment and save 400 bucks. If I were him, I would wait until the 6870 is at 100 bucks and the 2500K over 150. Then you go for a 150€ GEN3 card and for 450€ you can set up a Cross. With the 7000 series and Ivy, there will surely be good deals for previous series.

What do you base that statement on? Have you tried a micro and graphics card setup that is the same or very similar?

More or less.
I have a 6870 on a Q6600 @ 3200. And it's true that it runs all games at max settings at 1920x1080 except Crysis 2 DX11 which I have to lower to 1440x900 to get an average of 45-50 fps.
I don't like to play at an average of 30-40, in my opinion it's not fluid and it's noticeable on high-resolution monitors.
It should also be mentioned that Crysis 2 is optimized for Nvidia and that's something that Ati vga's suffer a lot from.3Dmark 11 gives me a score of over 4200 with the stock vga, with Oc almost 4600.

If you looked at the list…

it won't let me edit

That's why I told you that you have to be connected to Google with the account you provided, if you're not, you click "access" and it should let you set the permissions. Send me a PM if you can't do it.

Perfect, what if it's to edit your score? just by clicking on results in the table it puts "edit" and without going to the spreadsheet you can change the data.

This afternoon I gave the team a little bit of wadding and since I was at it I ran 3dMark11 again and put it in the database.
By the way Bm4n, in the form, where it says.." Number of the team's listing in the Overclock database"..what does that data refer to?Data:
Intel core i7 860 @ 4,2 GHz
Crossfire HD5770 940/1260/800.
3DMark11 score: 5622Best regards
-
Well, if you have a team in the oc list, the entry number to be able to find it, if your team is in row 10 for example, then you put 10.
Greetings.

Well, as CNCBCN told me in my post about graphic doubts, here are the photos with the tests. The first one with the GTX560Ti; and the second one adding the GTX260 for physx (with the consequent decrease in ram:verguen:, for those who followed my post). There is hardly any difference.

I haven't had the chance to try 3dmark 11, but I imagine it's the same as 10, and I assume it has a specific test for physics. Why don't you just run that one? Anyway, you win 35 points without having solved the RAM issue
If you have a multimeter, you could check how much more it consumes with the 260 (measure directly at the power supply input).
P.D have you tried it with the B3? -
I will only try the physics test. The free version doesn't allow it. As for the multimeter, I don't have one :risitas:
P.D.: I haven't tried the B3, it's just that I didn't remember that Skyrim was coming out, and this one takes precedence :D:D
-
Well, I have already assembled the 560Ti, it has improved almost a thousand points compared to the 6870, although better than that by far is the reduction in temperatures / noise compared to the ATI.
