But the thing is that it won't run any game, not a single one, otherwise it's perfect.

Have you plugged in BOTH power plugs?

I have the latest drivers installed for the "nvidia" 580, directX installed, both power connectors connected, I have not overclocked the micro, I have passed the 3d Mark 11, installed the OS from scratch, just in case,
I suppose the power supply can handle it, since the gtx 295 was dual (like a sandwich), I suppose they were 2 gtx 260, that's why I want to believe that, 1 single 580 is better than 2, 260,,,because of the consumption.
Now it accepts the games "Tomb Raider""Quake", etc,,,,but the latest "Hard Reset" "Alpha Protocol", etc…,,,nothing, it just keeps loading and after about 5 seconds approx, the pointer is still fresh on the desktop, as if nothing.
The last thing I will do is try to disconnect the 4 D.D and leave only the one from the OS, to see what happens, if not,,,,well,,,,holy change..
Never, ever had I experienced something like this with a graphics card, seriously.

Does the graphics card pass 3D Mark with good scores or any other that uses the graphics card? You can compare the scores with the results of others on the net.
If it passes the benchmarks with a normal score and doesn't crash or anything, the problem is not a physical one with the graphics card but a software one. Isn't it?
It's possible that reinstalling the system completely from scratch will solve it because it seems like some kind of silly incompatibility is driving you crazy.
Anyway, if you reinstall everything, don't install the latest drivers but the previous ones and if it works you'll update later.

Como idea :
¿la gráfica pasa con buenas puntuaciones el 3D Mark o alguno más que tire de gráfica?,las puntuaciones las puedes comparar con los resultados de otros en la red.
Si pasa los bench con puntuación normal y no se cuelga ni nada el problema no es fisico de la gráfica sino de software. ¿no?.
Es posible que reinstalando el sistema completamente desde cero se solucione por que pinta algun tipo de incompatibilidad chorras que te está volviendo loco.
De todas formas si reinstalas todo no instales los últimos drivers sinó los anteriores y si funciona ya actualizarás.
