Well, either you put the link or do a copy & paste or you summarize what's going on with you... otherwise it's going to be complicated to tell you something.

I appreciate such sympathy, it is an honor to be so well received.

I give the link because making a paste would be an even bigger problem.

        Thanks

P.D: I still can't get used to this interface, when I click "add link" it duplicates it, I still don't know how to make it come out correctly.

        Edit:

In case the reading becomes tedious, I would not mind making a brief summary.

I haven't read it all but you're supposed to enable XMP-2000 and the latencies would be 9-10-9. Enable XMP and set to manual 2000 in BIOS… I would have to set those latencies.

Nothing welcome and let's see if we can help you ?

            Hello once again,

As I am short on time, I will summarize the doubts I have.

My motherboard is an Asus P6T-Se and the rams I have, which I bought and will soon return are Corsiar Corsair CMT12GX3M3A2000C9

I want to know how I can make them work properly by taking advantage of their frequency and channel.

            Regards

              !

This is what happens when you put the XMG. What in your response you talk about changing the Mhz to 2000, Even putting it in XMG?

              Regards
Edit: I have put the mode in XMG but nothing to do manual using that mode, that is, if I'm not mistaken, the frequencies are auto.

Now, I already have the cards packed in the box for their return but, I have installed some kingstons that are also running at the same frequencies 533Mhz and are 1333Mhz. I have put in manual at 1333Mhz and it does nothing.
What I mean is that if we can solve these that have the same error, it would save me from taking them out of the packaging. If we get the ones I have to go to 1333Mhx, I will immediately disassemble the box and experiment with the new ones.

              I hope you understand me.

What I will do now is restart, put in XMG and in manual at 1333Mhx. and I'll upload a snapshot. So I see if this has an effect on the old ones, if so, surely the new ones will also work.

              Edit 2

In auto, by default without touching the bios with my 8Gb kingstons dual chanel at 1333Mhx this happens:

              !

Putting the XMG mode and manually changing the frequency to 1333Mhx with the same modules:

              !

As you can see the system does what it wants. If you see it very convenient that we do the tests with the corsairs, I will do them.

              Regards

No, where do you see that? I have them at 533Mhz,
In the images they say they go to 533MHz, the truth I apologize but I have given so much pressure to this topic that if I am wrong please let me know.

It does not matter what ram the system puts, it takes the frequency to 533MHz. At least that is what I see in CPU-Z

Well to start thank you very much.

I don't understand at all the multiplying by two. why? that does make sense though.

Now, what I will do tomorrow is to disassemble the machine, put the crosairs on it and make a new attempt but raising the frequencies to 2000Mhz, and I hope that triple channel will also work. I will do the test tomorrow.

                      Regards

My problem seems to be my extensive ignorance.

Tomorrow I will reconnect the 2000Mhz rams to triple channel. and I will comment again.

                          Thanks for everything.

The latency of my 8Gb 1333Mhz rams have latencies of 9 9 9 they are supposed to go to 668Mhz.
Is that latency so high normal? Nothing your image is the same.

hello your problem if you have one is that you have some memories that can work at 2000 and you have them at 1336 (but that is only with OC)
your memories and the technical sheet in :Tech Specs

                            SPD voltage 1.5
                            Specified speed PC3-16000 (2000MHz)
                            SPD speed 1333MHz

                            SPD latency 9-9-9-24

tested speed means that these memories support that speed, not that they work at that speed as standard ;D

Let's see Fran, I've already installed the Corsair cards

The first time I install them I change in the bios to XMG with 2133Mhz, which is the only option it leaves, otherwise it goes down to 1833Mhz.
After configuring it restarts abruptly and won't let me start up. So I manually turn off the pc.

I start up and this screen comes up:

                                !

I read, turn it off again, check if they are installed correctly and if they are correctly installed I start up again. In the reset bios I put Xmg data again, this time it automatically sets the Dram frequency to 2006Mhz and I start up in normal mode.

I take a snapshot with CPU-Z, and I see that the triple channel is there but the frequency:

                                !

Yes Fran, I understand that they go to 1333Mhz and the rest O.C. is why I bought them in the first place.

I'm warning you from the start that I'm worse than a novice, it's the first time I've faced a change of O.C. cards. But I usually do everything with people who know what they're doing behind me.

My main desire is to have the Dram at 2000Mhz triple channel. and I'll be able to rest in peace.

From what I can see the frequency is wrong, right?

                                Regards

Edit: I have no idea how to put it in triple now.

and the list of compatible memories is too old, those memories are no longer for sale,

Edit2: I've tried restarting and it doesn't do it, it gets stuck at the end. I have to turn it off by holding down the button. I guess this hurts the machine, no?

You see, doing a search on Google (that big unknown XD) I've seen that there are more people with problems to put the memories to 2000mhz having to raise the voltage of the QPI and also it must be said that there is not much difference in having memories at the normal speed for the memory controller than some with OC. You have two options or return those and buy some normal ones or fight to configure as we all do who want to do OC; changing them for others does not guarantee you that it will be a piece of cake, but you can try to see.

We would have to see what options your BIOS has, if there is any update, and why it does not give you the option of 2000mhz...

if the computer doesn't start up, reset the bios or remove the battery from the motherboard for 3 minutes and it's ready
you have to configure the memory manually in the bios and as specified and set it to
                                    2000Mhz at 1.65V and 9-10-9-27

Hello, the googlel theme is fine for some things, perhaps for 95% of things, but with such a specific theme, I won't take the risk. Less for what I might end up losing.

I've said and re-said that I set the frequencies to 2006Mhz, not the voltage, but thinking about it,
I'll skip all this hassle, I'll return them and the problem will be solved faster than it's being solved now, and I'll also get a reward for returning them.

If this goes to triple, it doesn't make much difference, it's not worth the risk to my equipment. I'll buy others at 1333Mhz and turn off my brain like we've been doing lately.

I appreciate your time and once again to pack them :wall:

Well, there isn't much more to it, I know that in the old i7s there are a lot of values to tweak to do OC: Basic OC Guide - Intel Core i7 - Socket 1366 - HardLimit Now with the new ones everything is independent so I don't remember how it was. If you're looking to OC your rig it would be good to start, if you don't have some basic concepts it will be complicated for you.

There are other OC guides on Hardlimit and on the web, it wouldn't hurt to take a look and then tinker yourself, of course knowing what you're touching will help a lot, if not just searching for the name of the option that comes up in BIOS you will also find information.

But I repeat OC isn't always a piece of cake.

What I am going to do is get myself 1600Mhz rams, cheap ones or maybe I should complete the capacity of the ones I have.. well I don't know. or buy another pc :wall: Thanks anyway, I find them very expensive for what they really increase.
