Doubt about voltage in Bios

Tengo una duda sobre una opcion de voltaje en mi placa,una Abit kT7A.
Debajo de dnd se seleciona el voltaje del Core, pone I/O Voltaje.
Por defecto son 3,3V, y lo puedo subir en intervalos de 0,1V: 3,4; 3,5; 3,6 …¿Para que sirve esta opccion?¿A que se le sube el voltaje ahi?Saludos, TonyE

Esta opcion solo parece tenerlas la Abit y algunas Epox como la antigua 8KTA3 por el momento. Es alterar el 3,3V para conseguir una estabilidad mayor con FSB extremos. Este voltaje afectaría a los dispositos de entrada-salida.
