¿Cómo puedo averiguar la dirección de entrada/salida de un puerto paralelo o serie?
por si alguien sabe cómo hacerlo pero no entiende mi pregunta lo que quiero sacar es un número del tipo 0x378 por ejemplo.

Bueno, no es muy complicado, sólo tienes que fijarte en el núcleo al arrancar:
~# dmesg | grep tty
ttyS00 at 0x03f8 (irq = 4) is a 16550A
ttyS01 at 0x02f8 (irq = 3) is a 16550Ay ahí la tienes. De todas formas, en la bios se suele poder mirar también. Espero haberte ayudado
