Modem and WOR with a mobile phone

Hola, estoy despertando mi equipo por WOR(Walk of ring) mediante un modem externo conectado al equipo y a la toma del telefono.
Tengo una duda, pues quiero intentar, conectar el modem a un mobil, y de esta forma, despertar el equipo llamando al mobil. Segun tengo entendido el ordenador se despierta porque el modem detecta una subida de V en la linea de telefono. Esto es asi? que V lleva normalmente la linea de telefono y a cuanto sube cuando se llama a esa linea?
Cualquier informacion o pagina donde mirar me vendra muy bien.
Algo sobre como actua la linea con el modem, para que este de la orden de despertar el equipo, estari muy bien.
