External hard drive firewire, where is it?

weno me acabo de instalar la suse 9.0 y tengo problemas con mi disco duro externo firewire, el caso es q me lo detecta, xo no lo veo por ningun lado, ni en /mnt, ni en /dev.. cuando pongo configurar el hd, me sale la tabla de particiones como la q sale en la instalacion, parece todo bien, xo no pone punto de montaje, supongo q es eso lo q stara mal, xo q punto de montaje pongo??

El punto de montaje lo decides tú, pon, por ejemplo, "/mnt/hd1394", "/mnt/hdfirewire" o el que tu quieras (no tiene por qué ser un /mnt/tal…), pero asegúrate de crear la carpeta, por ejemplo, si usas la primera que he dicho, si no existe haz un mkdir /mnt/hd1394 como root. Un saludo

hace poco con mandrake me ocurrio algo parecido con una camara digital usb
por lo visto lo monta como /dev/sda1
asi que si haces un
mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/discofirewire
pues debe de andar
eso si como rooten mandrake hay un harddrake2 que te detecta lo que tienes pinchado
