Messenger problem via wireless

Hola.
¿Alguien sabe por qué el messenger de mi portátil no inicia sesión cuando lo conecto por wireless ?
En cambio navegar va bien, pero el messenger no hay manera. Al iniciar sesión dice que no hay conexión a internet.
PD: No funciona ni con el firewall desactivado.
Tengo el router en multipuesto, asignadas las IP's manualmente y la versión del messenger es la 6 (MSN messenger 6.0), con la cual no hace falta abrir puertos…. (y mucho menos para simplemente chatear)
