En el mundo Linux, el escaneador mas usado es el NMap, seguramente uno de los mejores por su sencillez.
Ultimamente esta siendo portado a Windows tambien y lo puedes encontrar en http://www.insecure.org/nmap , dale un vistazo si quieres a ver que te parece.Un saludo.
