Hola a todos, tengo una dudilla con una tarjeta de sonido, es la Sound Blaster Live Platinium y mi pregunta es si con esta tarjeta conectandola a un ampli de Dolby Digital con el cable optico podre tener el sonido 5.1. La verdad es que el siguiente modelo que salió al mercado era la S.B. Live Platinium 5.1. no se si actualizaron esta tarjeta con el 5.1 o simplemente lo incluyeron como marketing.

Te lo hara sin problemas, la Sound Blaster Live! estaba preparada para sonido 5.1 analogico, y por eso sacaron luego la 5.1 digital. En tu caso, al tener la Live! platinum, tienes salida optica y digital, asi que es una version superior a la normal.
De todas maneras, supuestamente, esa tarjeta te hace descompresion por hardware, no necesitarias un deco externo, pero hay mucha gente que lo prefiere.
