E4 es la revision del micro. Las hay varias como por ejemplo E3, E4, E6, DH7-CG,…

Sino recuerdo mal E4 indica la revision del micro y corresponde tambien a 90 nm de tecnologia de integración.
Es un buen micro para overclock pero quizas si buscas un poco encuentres Opteron 148 que suelen subir mucho mas. Tambien te digo que para que te suba bastante el micro te deben acompañar el resto de componentes (placa y RAM)
