me parece que la nomencaltura K8 es de 939.
si pones el nombre de la placa en el google te saldrá de que socket es, y si es 754 pues si serviría.

K8 es el nombre de la última plataforma de microprocesadores de AMD: Athlon 64, Opteron, Sempron y Turion 64; todos basados en la plataforma K8.
En esa placa seguro que puedes poner un Athlon 64 Mobile DTR, aunque es posible (no lo sé, pero es muy posible) que un Athlon 64 Mobile LP o un Turion 64 funcionen sin problemas.
