Buenas, hacia ya un par de años que no pasaba por aquí, es bueno saber que aún sigue esta gran comunidad en pie
Tengo un LCD 4x20 con controladora HD44780 y conexion por puerto paralelo de hace algún tiempo, todo perfecto hasta que he tenido que cambiar de placa… y claro, las nuevas no llevan ya interfaz paralela.
He estado viendo cables y adaptadores de paralelo a serie y USB, pero desconozco si funcionarán correctamente con el LCD. Alguien ha tenido el mismo problema o sabe algo sobre el tema? Quizá sea más rentable comprar una pantallita nueva...

Los adaptadores USB -> Serie funcionan bien, yo los uso para configurar Routers Cisco, así que si funcionan con esos chismes seguro que funcionan con el LCD.
