I suppose you don't have the cables as in the photo, do you? I personally would opt to retire that tower :nono: I wouldn't buy that cooler "for myself" because it's small and I doubt it dissipates what one with 120mm Noctua fans dissipates. Noctua is a good brand (but expensive, and aesthetically it leaves much to be desired (fans). You can find better fans and cheaper than Noctua).

P.D. If you do O.C. you need a good cooler and that's not a "small" cooler.

Yes, the cables are not visible now. I placed them well when I mounted the Artic Cooling. But I didn't have another larger case.
So what cooler do you recommend?

I've seen a Noctua 14 that fits me, this one:

        Noctua NH-C12P SE14 NH-C12PSE14 Fan/Cooler

        What do you think?
        Thanks for helping me.

Zalman were a reference until the tower type ones you recommend came out. I would go for a tower type with 12 fans.
You would be left blowing air towards the rear outlets and with the power supply right above to remove residual heat. Perfect in my opinion.

Call me old-fashioned, but with side fans, I don't think there will be any airflow in that case. That's a fan.

            @wanautentico:

            Regarding money, I can spend from 40 to 50 € even 60.

Will the Master Hyper 212 plus cooler be able to cool a Q6600 at 3600? It is very similar to the Artic Cooling. The only difference is that the Master cooler has 2 more heatpipes than the Artic.

I like the Scythe Yasya CPU Cooler. Is it easy to mount? Is it compatible with the Asus P5E? This motherboard has the micro surrounded by radiators from the x38 chipset.

            Thanks for responding.

My brother has a q6600 and with the hyper 212+ he can go up to 3.3ghz, at most 3.4 but with dangerously high temperatures. To keep it at a good temperature at 3.6ghz I tried putting my megashadow + 2 gt 1850rpm in push pull and it wasn't overstressed at all.

I don't know what voltage your processor will ask for, but unless it's a high-end one, you'll need an expensive cooler (from 60 euros minimum) to keep temperatures in check at 3600mhz.

I only have 15 cm of height and all the tower type coolers with 12 cm fans are around 16 cm except this one:

              Noctua NH-U9B SE2 - 12.5 cm height:

              Noctua NH-U9B SE2 NH-U9B SE2 Fan/Cooler

and the Scythe Katana 3 - 14 cm height:

              ALTERNATE - HARDWARE - Cooling - CPU Cooling - Scythe Katana 3

Which one would you choose? Or another alternative is not to put a tower type, but which one?

              Regards and thanks.

In the end I decided on the Noctua. I don't have the capital to change the case. If I see that the 9 cm Noctua can't handle the oc of the q6600 € 3600 I will lower it to 3.4 or 3.2. Depending on how the dispiador behaves.

                Thanks for the help.
One more question, to mount the Noctua I have to remove the plate from the case, right? because you have to put a support behind the motherboard.
                Am I wrong?

Greetings and many thanks. I have already ordered it from PcComponentes.

I suppose you will have to remove the plate. (I had to do it with mine to anchor it behind)

I have already assembled the Noctua NH-U9B SE2 and it works perfectly. I must say that the ambient temperature is very high due to the crossfire of 5770 and because my room in summer is a sauna.

But now it does not exceed 53º at full load and 38º at idle.

                    Good heatsink for small cases.
One last question. This heatsink comes with 2 fans and I have put one blowing air in front of the heatsink and the other blowing out behind the heatsink.

And if I put both blowing in, would it cool more??

Regards and thank you very much for responding.

                      @wanautentico:

What if I put both in the fridge? Would it cool down more??

Two equal forces in opposite directions? That's not how it works… The way you have it set up now is how it should be.
                      Nice temperatures like that! :sisi:

Another thing is that you put two fans "attached" spinning in the same direction. I mean fan fan heatsink fan? ?
