Telephone, ADSL and fax for small office
-
Good afternoon to everyone!
The case is as follows. I have been asked to find information on solutions to have a small law office where the telephone, fax and internet are essential.
So far it has an RDSI set up with Movistar, but it is very expensive per month due to the rates and because they charge what they want, and then he has decided to make a portability to another company.
I have been looking and in Orange they cannot offer me any solution to this, Jazztel by phone have said that they also do not work with RDSI just like Orange (but on the web I have seen something about RDSI…:|).
What solutions do companies adopt in these cases? In the premises there is only 1 pair of copper, a solution would be to make 2 independent lines? But telefónica is the one in charge of doing it and they will ask for permanence or something.. I think it is not a good idea.
Any company that offers RDSI or similar to have telephone, internet and fax (keeping the current numbers)?
Regards!

Browsing a bit more, I found this solution:

A question. If I'm using the phone and someone wants to send me a FAX, will I be able to receive it?
One of these days I'll do the test, but the RDSI will still be on, will I have problems with the RDSI connecting phone, fax and ADSL on the same line? Maybe the RDSI works at different frequencies or something (I'm not up to date on the subject).
Will I be able to port one of the numbers? Or will I lose both numbers?
If this gives results, it's possible that we'll get rid of the RDSI and put a conventional line of a lifetime with an ADSL and this fix.
Regards!

With an RDSI you can use the fax at the same time as the phone, but not with an STB.
At the price that RDSI usually comes out, it is more profitable to make a conversion and go to two STB. The one that has ADSL by the plate tariff to call and the other for fax. But it all depends on the number you want to have on one side and the other, etc…Best regards.
