If your TV has a VGA input, that is analog.
You need a DVI-I adapter, the one that has the four pins on one end.
Another thing to consider is if your graphics card outputs analog signals. You should try it first with an analog monitor, the ones that have a D15 or VGA connector -
My Bravia 42" LED doesn't pick up VGA signal from my laptop and my BenQ monitor does. I read on another forum that a user had the same problem with another Bravia, to see if Sony has played a trick on us :fumeta: It wouldn't hurt to try it on another monitor to be sure.
