Graphics - 150 Euros.

Hello, I have to change my graphics card, I have a Quadcore 2400 overclocked to 3000, 2g ddr2 at 1066 and I play at 1680x1050, and I only have 150 euros, I know the computer is old, but I can't change it.

Do you think it's good? A 6850 better?

Check this one out too: Zotac GeForce GTX470 Synergy Edition 1280MB GDDR5 ZT-40203-10P Graphics Card is more powerful than the Ati 6870 Cons: The nvidia depends more on the CPU and with your micro, an ATi adapts better. The consumption is higher. It's a hot-headed graphics card with the heatsink it comes with. Pros: The 470GTX is a great graphics card and with a very interesting OC margin. It performs with overclocking similar to a 560GTX TI that is around 200€. -
It is a power-hungry oven (160 VS 280W) that is noisy and pulls a bit more in dx 10, I wouldn't get it but if there are no problems with the noise, the power supply is decent and powerful enough, and the case is well cooled, it's not a bad option.

Because you can always wait... If it's not urgent, wait and ask the question in a few months. Think that today you buy something and in 1 month you have another one that is better and cheaper; that's how the world of computing works...
The series 7 will bring some improvement, no matter how small it is, it will bring some.

Buen precio para una tarjeta de rendimiento similar a una GTX470, bueno un pelín menos.
Mírate esta también: Zotac GeForce GTX470 Synergy Edition 1280MB GDDR5 ZT-40203-10P Tarjeta Gráfica es más potente que la Ati 6870
Pegas: Las nvidia dependen más de la CPU e igual con tu micro se adapta mejor una ATi. El consumo es más elevado. Es una gráfica calentorra con el disipador que trae.
Pros: La 470GTX es una señora gráfica y con un margen de OC muy interesante. Rinde con Overclock similar a una 560GTX TI que ronda los 200€
La verdad es que es un tarjeton, rinde de muerte pero no veas como suena y el calor que genera. Eso si según he leído a algún forero, haciendo un buen perfil en MSI Afterburner, no son tan calurosas como parecen.
Yo, la verdad es que no fui capaz y bueno ahora que la usare en otro equipo opte por plantar un ventilador grande, de forma cutre, pero que gano en silencio.
