Which card(s) do I buy for 100 euros?
-
Hello, could you solve a doubt for me? My GTX 285 has died and right now I have a budget of more or less 100 euros. Which card do you recommend?
Is it better to buy one of that price or two of 50 and do crossfire, the equipment would support two graphics cards well.
I mainly use it to play WoW and sometimes other games.
Thanks in advance.

hello and welcome
if you tell us what equipment you have, we might be able to tell you if it would support two cards or not
edit : after a quick look, you'd better forget about the 2 * 100 = to 2 of 50 because besides being quite pricey, they mostly don't support SLI
edit signature and we continue but for 100 euros a 6770 http://www.coolmod.com/product/12823/0/0/1/TGrafica-Sapphire-HD6770-512Mb-GDDR5-HDMI-DVI-I-DP.htm but better wait for more recommendations

hello and welcome
if you put which team you have it is possible that we can say if it would support two cards well or not
+1

And a couple of cards of 50€ each seems to me in advance something that will not yield spectacularly…
But give us details of your team and we will see :sisi:Regards

Clearly the repaired 5850 from pccomponentes.

I would save a little with that equipment and get a HD 6870, which is at a very interesting price at pccomponentes.

you can also try putting it in the oven, sometimes they come back to life
if it works you can save some more while it lasts (sometimes they last a long time and others not) How to repair a graphics card with ARTIFACTS, using an OVEN. - HardLimit -
Thanks to everyone for the responses, I have already bought an HD 6870

Good investment, putting less graphics on that equipment to save a few euros would be a waste.
