Just changed to Jazztel. Are they kidding me?
-
Well, it turns out that I signed up with Jazztel 2 days ago and the first thing I did was go to the self-management panel to activate the Fast Path profile but I was in for a surprise… I don't have that profile.
I opened an incident (actually 2) and both times they ended up saying that the system had ruled out my line for the fast path profile because according to them if I activate it my synchronization would drop below 1Mbps download... which surprises me a lot since my data currently (in optimal profile) are:
15727 Kbps downstream
1022 Kbps upstream
30.5dB attenuation
8.7 dB noise margin
I'm not an expert on lines but I have the feeling that they are getting rid of me because of (perhaps) a system error in the initial quality check of my line.
In fact when I spoke with the guy from the surveys (after saying that I was not happy with the service provided by the technician) he made me perform the speed tests and according to him I should be able to activate the fast path profile without any problems, so he passed me on again with another technician and this one told me "the system says so and it can't be done, good night".
¿ Alguien con Jazztel y el fast path activado me podría pasar los datos de sincronización y ruido con y sin fast path? -

I have Jazztel "20 megas". Rarely does it reach 10 Mbps download and I can activate fastpath without problems (and with the line totally stable).
Now I'm not in front of that connection, but from the self-managed services panel, it gives me these data:
Download speed 9230 Kbps
Upload speed 1336 Kbps
Attenuation 31.0 dB
Noise margin 9.0 dBNow I have the turbo velocity profile of upload (Annex M). If you want I will change the profile and I'll give you the data with fast path, but I can assure you that your line is perfectly suitable.
I would wait a few days, because maybe the DSLAM is still adapting and stuff. If not, you know that you don't have permanence -> Trick: you transfer the voice line to Telefónica without ADSL (it's free) and then you re-register the line with Jazztel. The only problem is that you will be 3 or 4 weeks without connection.
PD: You have a PM.

I wrote a post in the Adslzone forum to see if there's any luck...

It is already activated… they have fixed it for me on the forum. -
Strange you were going to tell me. Because I sync at 1.7mbps disgusting and I can activate the FastPath without problems…
Greetings!
