Problem with Nvidia and battlefield 3
-
Sylver, the previous drivers from BETA that I said don't work, are from there onwards because BF3 won't start if it's not, Obione as I said in the rest of the games it works fine, I told the colleague that we are going to wait 1 week to see if something similar appears, but I have a hunch that there is some incompatibility between the driver and the game, it's curious that this same thing happens to another friend but it lets him play although it kicks him out of the game but he can go back in and they are all GTX560 Ti, one of these strange things has happened to me now and I had to restart, I will wait a few days because if it's a problem with Nvidia or DICE, they will surely fix it quickly.

If it's a matter of nVidia releasing a new BETA, and if it's incompatibility, they will release a patch. We have to wait and see if we're lucky.

Battlefield 3 – Nvidia owners be warned; Corrupted shadows and stuttering are introduced with Nvidia’s 285.62 Drivers | DSOGaming | The Dark Side Of Gaming
Nvidia and DICE are on it.Here are several that have solved your same problem (driver crash and repetitive sound) but in creative and disparate ways.

Here others avoid it by lowering the core speed on the GPU. It's a very common error commented on many forums. I assume that, with how popular that card is, they are already creating a suitable fix. -
although it's somewhat off topic, this morning in the daily press they dedicated 2 pages to the battle vs CoD, they said that the previous Cod sold 72 million copies on the first day and generated revenue of 400 million in a day. Now the issue, it said that the undisputed lord was CoD because it was more for children (if it said that) but that the new battle could take the crown from CoD because the issue of "for adults was resolved" (CoD was for children and battle for adults) and that as the battle's graphic engine beats the new CoD's by 50 laps, well that's it... but if they start with "details" like the drivers, we're in trouble :nono:

Well, BF2 had bugs that persisted for a long time and it didn't prevent it from being a great game for over five years.
Patience and stay tuned for possible new patches from Nvidia and EA. This has just begun. -

Well, other affected users have told me that they have managed to eradicate the problem by updating the motherboard and VGA BIOS. It's strange, but they say it worked, so I'll give it a try.

Thanks to a colleague, it seems that for now it has been solved by updating the BIOS to the graphics card, anyway let's hope they release quick patches, so those who have problems try this, we have played for quite a while and it seems that it doesn't crash.
Regards.

The same thing happened to me with the Techno, and it got fixed when I updated the BIOS. Regards.

But you have a 6950, has it happened to you too? Only with BF3 or with other games?
Greetings.

If with BF3, but apart, you have to in Origin, click to repair the game, download an update of about 12Gb, (this is to give stability to the game) and try to see if there is luck, regards Tecnho

Like a game update, what you download is the origin game that weighs 12gb XD, what updates would that be XDD, what there was on the first day is a 500mb patch.
Anyway, greetings.

with which version of the graphics has it been fixed for you? an acquaintance has mounted a newly bought graphics card in his pc (I suppose with updated bios) and it doesn't give the slightest problem.
