As you can see, I have a couple of Sata HDDs, one of 1TB and another of 250GB.

I have both red SATA cables, and the motherboard allows it, as I have 4 SATA ports to connect.

I would like the 1TB to go to the SSOO (Win 7), install programs / games … and the 250GB to go for data, as if it were an external HDD but permanently connected.

      Is it possible?

I formatted everything, but only one appears in EQUIPMENT, the 1TB one, but the other one is not seen... I would like both to be seen...

      How can I do that?

      Greetings and thanks!

              @CNCBCN:

not calm not that, what motherboard do you have? what hard drives are they? in short what equipment do you have? we don't edit the signatures to make fun of the PC we edit the signatures so that people know what equipment we have and can answer the queries. but if you say you have two drives and two red cables, well …..
does the bios recognize both hard drives? that's the first thing
you have configured the access to the 1t as the primary
P.D please don't write in double or triple space you occupy a totally unnecessary space ?

              Hello.

              Thanks for your response.

The thing with the spaces, is to make your reading more comfortable. This way it's a bit more comfortable, right? Besides, I always write like this... I'm sorry if it has bothered you.

I don't mess with anyone, and I'm a bit new to the subject, but I like the world of computing and tinkering with it. I'll put a signature with the characteristics of my PC.

              Motherboard: Gigabyte S-Series GA-EP31-DS3L
Hard Drive: SATA Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 1TB
Hard Drive: SATA Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 250GB

I think I should configure something in the BIOS, but I don't know which section to touch.

In the BIOS, it recognizes the 2 hard drives I have connected. But I don't know how to make the 1TB one the primary.

That is, now it's newly formatted, and I see that it has done so on the 1TB HDD. The other, no trace. I would like it to appear in COMPUTER, so that I can save the data there.

I hope I have clarified this with this response. Thank you.

It was solved for me by doing:

Right-click on computer -> Manage -> Storage -> Disk Management

And then format it and it already recognizes it … ?

                Thanks for the help.
