I've had the PC at 3200-3400 MHz for a long time without any problems, but lately it doesn't save the changes. I thought it might be the PB battery, but there are other changes to the keyboard, USB, etc... that it saves without problems. I haven't changed anything lately, except the graphics. Temperatures are controlled and at ridiculous values. OC parameters that I've had saved for years (F11- F12) and it always loads them, but when it starts up, it ignores them. Just by listening to the sequence of sounds at startup, I already know it doesn't pick them up. It takes longer to do the "Beep". It's like when you put an incorrect value, it ignores it and takes longer in the process... but they are values that I've had for years. Memories relaxed to 800 and OC light to 3000, 2800... no either. It starts up by default at 2400MHz and sometimes even below that since it sets the multiplier as it pleases. Voltages, multipliers, in fixed or automatic... it just doesn't care. I'm amazed. If you can think of anything, I'm all ears... I have no idea why.

Have you tried doing a ClearCMOS? My DS3L eventually asked for a little more voltage in the micro and I needed to relax the memory a bit.

Try reinstalling the bios or updating

Updated Bios from F11 to F13 and lost the Cmos settings, so I guess I did a ClearCmos. (Never mind, I know them by heart)
I load Defaults on the board and it runs with everything on auto at 2.4GHz. But (C1E and EIST disabled) just raising from 266x9 (default) to 267x9 makes it start all over again.
It won't let me touch it even a little, not even with mems at 800. ? I've tried with a bit more voltage, but if you want rice Catherine. :vayatela:

I don't know, you could try going back to an older version of BIOS, or doing a clear with the board's jumper, that's usually how it goes with weird problems... although this one is really strange.

It could be that the power supply was failing and the lack of voltage was causing the BIOS to reduce everything to default, that's what comes to mind...

              Best regards
