The G series from logitech has the advantage of the so-called "G keys" which are keys that can be assigned macros, that is, with one press you can open a web page, a program or perform a certain action. Apart from that, it has illuminated keys, multimedia controls and some lcd screens.
I have a G11 and the truth is that it is quite bad for typing, I don't know if it is an exceptional case, but sometimes the keys get stuck a little.
If what you want is precision in each press, a mechanical keyboard is the way to go, as Incrediboy says, which although somewhat noisy are very effective. In addition to being difficult to find because, fewer and fewer brands are manufacturing them, and curiously they coincide with the ones of higher quality. Maybe some Cherry…it is a matter of looking a little. But for the price it is not bad, nor is it a bad keyboard...
Best regards

but that has nothing to do with being a gamer. it works just like a 20 euro logitech keyboard, only the g15 has lights and other gadgets..
Well, for me, macros are not a gadget… I actually use them, you know xD especially in repeat mode.

if you want programmable keys it's cheaper this Keyboard
something like a gamer http://www.tienda-traxtore.com/tienda/index.php?page=pp_producto.php&md=0&ref=TEC496 with lights http://www.tienda-traxtore.com/tienda/index.php?page=pp_producto.php&md=0&ref=TEC553 and this one for BF3 http://www.tienda-traxtore.com/tienda/index.php?page=pp_producto.php&md=0&ref=VAR311
P.D I think that keyboard is fine as long as it's new, otherwise as you can see you can buy better things for less money (I have a logitech and I'm happy with it (I can't say the same about the mouse that came with it) but I know some people who don't have it for a very good brand. -
For me macros are not a gimmick… at least I use them anyway xD especially in repeat mode.
+1 Krampak
And more in my case that are 54 G keys ;D
The truth is that for repetitive things, cut paste, etc,..they are great.
The only drawback maybe, apart from the keys sometimes get stuck, is that without the keyboard lit and with good ambient light you can't see the letters on the keys well.Best regards

I have tried many keyboards for gaming, and if I had to choose, I have it clear, the IBM Model M. If my favorite keyboard for gaming is from 25 years ago, draw your own conclusions about what they make now.
Of the current ones, I quite like the Razer BlackWidow Ultimate, but as it is not in the Spanish version (with the Ñ key and all that), I would take the SteelSeries 7G

They were ugly, ugly, but tough, tough. I think one of my brothers still has one :D:D

now if one of Mac (of the old ones) serves you, I'll give it to you -
I have a g15 v2 and I am delighted with it except that it is already getting old and my beatings are taking their toll, and it is a gamer, it has macro keys and details like disabling the windows key function as well as the lighting which is quite comfortable, it is well priced, the new ranges are the g110 and g510 and then the g19 which is the most expensive.

that is not a problem with an ibm model m, it is impossible to hit the windows key without wanting to:D

At the moment they have left me a logitech G11 but not all the keys work like the 'p' the 'o' or the numbers. I have opened it and cleaned it but it is still the same. Does anyone know what could be wrong? It's not a matter of drivers (tried), everything else like the volume and that works perfectly. Could someone tell me how I could fix it? -
for my taste the most practical to play are keyboards of this type
Revoltec Gaming FightPad Gaming Keyboard - 35 euros

there are better ones of course but it depends on everyone's budget

my favorite of that type is this:

one of the best I've seen in a long time, the new version is not bad, but the material of the keys... is not the same anymore.
