Changing the plate on the equipment
-
Hello
I had a Pentium 4 with its motherboard that stopped working.
I got a motherboard for amd with its processor and I want to replace the motherboard and processor with the amd one
so that I can reuse the rest of the components. The problem is that on the motherboard for the pentium there is a connector from the power supply that connects to the motherboard and is named Power Fan and is a connector similar to the ATX Power one but with 4 pins arranged in a square, not rectangle. (that is, two rows by 2 columns)
The problem is that on the motherboard for amd I do not see anything similar and I do not know where to plug it in, or if if I do not plug it in the fan of the power supply would not work…
The amd motherboard is the following: KuDoz 7X/400A
Thank you very much!

I'm told this by a P4 motherboard that I have around here and two FAs that I have "lying around" next to the P4 monitor :D:D -
Well yes! It works without that jejeje
Now I'm dealing with a page fault in nonpaged area
And I don't know if it's because before I had 512mb of ram and now I put 1250 mb
or because the connectors for the front usb ports don't go in the same order as on the other board….
Thanks! -
on the micro$oft website it says this, try it to see if it works for you:
Start Windows in Safe Mode. To do this:
Restart your computer and press F8 while it starts up.
In the Advanced Windows Options menu that appears, use the arrow keys to select Safe Mode and then press ENTER.
Use the arrow keys to select the operating system that should start up, and then press ENTER to start Windows XP in Safe Mode.In the message that says Windows will run in Safe Mode, click Yes.
Click Start and then Run, in the Open box type msinfo32 and then click OK.
In System Summary, expand Components and click Show.
In the right panel, note the information corresponding to the INF file item, for example, Nv4.inf, Oem0.inf, or Atim128.inf.
Exit the System Information tool.
Click Start, right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.
Click the Hardware tab, and then click Device Manager.
Expand Display adapters, right-click the display adapter, and then click Uninstall.
Click OK.
Click Start and then Run, type cmd and click OK.
In the command prompt window, type the following commands; press ENTER after each line.
ren %systemroot%\\inf\\ Name of the INF file from step 5.inf *inf.old
ren %systemroot%\\inf\\ Name of the INF file from step 5.pnf *pnf.old
Close all open windows and restart your computer in the normal way.
Log on to Windows with a user account that has administrative privileges and wait for Windows to detect the new hardware.
When the New Hardware Found Wizard starts, click Cancel. If a stop error appears after you remove the updated display drivers, restart your computer and use the Last Known Good Configuration option. To do this, restart your computer and press F8 while it starts up. In the Advanced Windows Options menu that appears, use the arrow keys to select Last Known Good Configuration and then press ENTER.
If the "The system has recovered from an error" message appears when you start Windows, restart your computer again. This error message will not appear again.
Obtain and install the latest drivers for the display adapter.
