Well as I already mentioned in other posts, I didn't know if I should do the sli or not... because it involved another graphics card, more power supply.
The thing is that I can't play BF3 with filters, everything in ultra yes, but without filters. Obviously it's another game.
Given that in a short period of time I'm going to be obsolete and that I really don't feel like throwing away my 700 power supply, it's not new, but it's in perfect condition. I've decided to go for the gtx 570 (considering the price of the 650 TI).
I found two, under 300. Specifically a pny for 250 and another inno3d for 265. The inno3d has slightly higher memories, at 4000 and 800.
So tomorrow if I do the sli, considering changing the power supply and other things... I'll take it out of the 570.
What do you think of this option coming from the 460?
      Which one would you choose?

It seems like an improvement to me, especially considering that when the new Nvidia lineup comes out, the 570/580 will flood the second-hand market. This favors the possibility of setting up SLI at a good price.

The issue of the higher mems, you have to weigh it because when you put them in SLI they have to run at the same frequencies, so either in the future you buy another "overclocked" 570 or you'll have to lower this one.
But at least while you don't have SLI you can enjoy more graphic power.

        Best regards

There are some with 2 fans but the price goes up. I imagine that the performance won't be very significant.
Does anyone have one? I was reading and they say they are hot, at full they are almost reaching 80º

on the other hand, do you think it's worth buying this cheap gtx 570 or getting a new ti 448?

Well, the topic is closed, in the end I lost my cool. I was going to buy the pny gtx 570 for 265€ but the salesman/technician ended up convincing me to buy the Gigabyte GTX 570 SOC for 310€, according to him… a bargain and on sale... I don't know...
The truth is that I let myself be convinced because I had read reviews that the first GTX570s seemed like stoves and could even reach 80º. Anyway, the guy has the OC for 300€ and the SO for 310€ and I jumped into the river.
I just finished assembling everything now and I did the first test with Skyrim... everything ultra with filters at maximum and at 1080. It's going well, the truth is that it's pulling miles. Even so, it leaves me with a nagging feeling that it's not a spectacular difference compared to the 460oc2. considering that I put 180 spins.
Maybe it's that with Skyrim I can't ask for more. If I was already playing in ultra without filters... with the 460
Now I'll try with BF3 which gave me more problems with the 460.
P.D: the guy told me that I can return it within 15 days, so I'll spend some time weighing the investment.

These things usually happen, and if you also catch a good seller...
Obviously, in temperatures, the cooling system of the SOC has to be noticeable compared to the reference models.

                Enjoy the new card, buddy.

Thanks. I really noticed it now. Battlefield 3 at FULL with motion blur at 100. And it runs smoother than before. A new sensation.
I've been looking and it seems like it was a good price. I haven't seen any go below 350€.
On the other hand I was looking at reviews (I didn't know this one) in BF3 up to x1200 at full it seems to run at par with the generic 580.
Honestly… I'm going to enjoy it like a kid ?
