      Hello again…
A few days ago I was thinking about updating some parts of my PC hardware... in this case GPU and CPU... after searching and searching the internet trying to convince myself what to buy and receiving recommendations... in terms of quality and price... I came to an agreement with myself JA! and yesterday I bought the GPU ATI Sapphire HD6870 with a Thermaltake TR2 600W power supply (which turns out I have a problem XD) and unfortunately I couldn't find the processor... which is lucky because I have a big doubt...
I was recommended the AMD Phenom II X4 960T Black Edition. I currently have an Athlon II X2 215 CPU at 2.7GHz that I definitely feel is a bottleneck when it comes to gaming... my question is if this CPU (Phenom II X4 BE) will make a noticeable change in terms of speed (FPS). The thing is that I start to think... and the X4 is at 3.0GHz and the X2 I currently have is at 2.7GHz... the thing is that according to what I understand only GTA4 and BF3 need an X4 among others, since most games or rather almost all are optimized to run on 2 cores and to spend money just for 300MHz which is the difference between the X2 and X4 I prefer to save it... or directly try to do an OC for a few more MHz and that's it; maybe I'm wrong in my deduction and surely I am since it's not the only factor that significantly increases the transfer speed... but maybe you can recommend me something around the budget of a Phenom II X4, something better. Since I'm not sure if the Phenom II X4 will significantly increase performance.
It should be noted that the CPU upgrade is for gaming.

XDD hay leches hoy me vais a matar de la risa entre todos… Creo que tu placa no admite los FX, sino te recomendaría el FX-8150, con lo cual lo mejor que podrías montar es un 'porezador' Phenom II X6.

XDD there are leches today you are going to kill me with laughter among all… I think your motherboard does not support the FX, otherwise I would recommend the FX-8150, so the best you could put together is a 'drilled' Phenom II X6.

if I know it's a keyboard problem.. and I couldn't find the edit button to fix the title XDDD
so I left it like this…
the thing is that the x6 is out of my budget. an example here the x4 is 800 ars and the x6 1200/1400 ars
and according to what I read the x4 with luck you can unlock it to x6...

I'm not very knowledgeable about unlocking, but not everyone can do it and it also depends on the motherboard and BIOS so don't get your hopes up. I don't know what the prices are like there, but here a cheap X4 is 105€ and the X6 is 145€ so it's worth it, anyway, even if you go from an X2 to an X4 you'll notice some improvement.

this pack has the Core Unlocker function and the Bios is updated to the latest version but I know that doesn't mean I'll be able to unlock it to 100% anyway I'll see what I can do... if I get an x4 or x6...
my doubt was if besides those two I had other alternatives and thus be able to compare them... anyway thank you very much... ?

Man asks Asus if he can mount the FX, the chipset itself I think is not a problem, the thing is that he has a BIOS that supports it ?

I think that with FX technology it's already too much.. if I needed the PC for a server, whether it's for games or something else, maybe I would think about it.. but it's simply for gaming…
is a x4 or x6 good enough for gaming? I mean I don't want something super powerful, just something that can handle games...
