Hello friends. I would like to ask you if you know the speed regulation system for up to 4 fans of this power supply, and if you could tell me how it works and what alternatives there are so that the case fans regulate themselves according to the needs:

BeQuiet BQT P9 PRO Dark Power Power Supply

      _Cooling for the system
      • Up to 4 fans can be connected to a special power supply system so that their speed will be regulated to adjust it to the needs of your equipment depending on the temperature inside.
      _

I would also like to know how the connection is changed in "4 independent rail mode" to "single rail mode" in that power supply, since in its technical documentation it says:

Compatible with multi-GPU equipment (with several graphics cards)
      • It can work in two ways, either multi-rail with up to four independent 12V rails or single-rail, concentrating all the power in a single 12V rail to achieve maximum performance for extreme overclocking.

      Thanks in advance and greetings.

I will resolve a doubt for you, it has a switch to change between modes.

For the rest you can use the Contact section of their website, that's what it's for.

        Cheers!

Many thanks for your reply Fassou. The truth is that in the photos I couldn't see the switch and that's why I was asking.

Regarding asking BeQuiet! directly, I had considered it, but I think that asking the manufacturer of the power supply "how is it going" with their fan control system is going to have a fixed response.

In other words, what I was asking for was your opinion on that curious fan control system, and if you know of any independent system that I can install to regulate the speed of the fans, but automatically.

          Regards.

I have another question about this power supply, as I see that the BeQuiet is quite deep, 200mm, and has the fan more displaced, let's say towards the interior of the ATX case than other power supplies (like for example the Corsair AX750).
So, with the fan hole more displaced, when mounting it, the fan area will not coincide with the lower ventilation hole of the ATX case I had in mind, a Fractal define R3. You can see it by comparing the photo of the power supply with the one of the interior of the case.

Be Quiet Dark Power P9 Pro 850W BN175 Power Supply
Professional Review » Review: Fractal Design R3

Then I looked and I see that almost all cases have the lower ventilation hole for the power supply, right next to the mounting edge of the power supply. So, how is this BeQuiet mounted? Will the fan always be semi-covered?

            Regards.
