New PC gamer (no intention of OC)
-
Hello,
After about 6 years, it's time to buy a new PC (including monitor). My budget is 1000€. A colleague recommended this PC (the cheapest store around here):
[=1&products[38863]=1&products[50692]=1&products[2227]=1&products[43801]=1&products[46573]=1&products[38702]=1"]https://www.verkkokauppa.com/fi/cart/populate?products[26565]=1&products[38863]=1&products[50692]=1&products[2227]=1&products[43801]=1&products[46573]=1&products[38702]=1](https://www.verkkokauppa.com/fi/cart/populate?products[26565)
Initially, I was planning to change that monitor to a BenQ RL2450HT 24". Regarding his recommendations, I don't like spending 240 euros on the GTX570, is there one that is close in performance whose price is significantly lower? Or would you rather recommend another configuration?
Importantly, I don't want to overclock my system.
Best regards,

It's a bit outdated, I would change the Sandy and Z68 for an Ivy with Z77. The RAM seems expensive for not being great, and you might want to look at the new range of ATI graphics.

Hello! I've got this basic configuration (motherboard, case, ram and cpu and I'm super happy. especially with the case.
it came out for 520 € and you have 500 left to get what you need.

What models do you recommend? (processor, motherboard, graphics card, RAM?)

I would put all the meat on the grill with the graphics card and get a 2500K + ASRock Extreme4 motherboard + Thermalright Silver Arrow cooler + 2x4GB 1333MHz G.Skill Ares. If you don't want to build 2 graphics cards you can save a few euros on the power supply and motherboard, with an ASRock P67 Pro3 it's good for one graphics card and with a Corsair TX650 you're served even for a GTX 680 that would give a good fight for a long time.
Something like this would be good:
Custom budget. PcComponentes.com
It's not enough for the 680 xD
Editing: Lately the configurator does silly things, I put the 2500K but it changed the micro.

Oblione, as my budget is 1000€ and the monitor costs around 200€, it leaves me with a margin of 800€ for the rest. Also, I think the prices here in the north will be quite more expensive: http://www.verkkokauppa.com/
I was also recommended this: What do you think? (links with the prices of the store where I'm going to get the PC)
188€ - Intel Core i5-3450 CPU
99€ - Asus P8H77-M Intel H77 ATX Motherboard
$48€ - 2 x Kingston ValueRAM KVR1333D3N9/4GB DDR3 1333 RAM
263€ - Gigabyte HD 7850 2GB PCI-E Video Card
73€ - Samsung Spinpoint F3 HD502HJ 500GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive
$76€ - Antec HCG-520 520W PSU
60€ - Fractal Design Core 3000 ATX Case

Total: 807€ -

Total: 807€I'll talk about the components that I know...
the cpu is fine if you don't want to overclock. But for 20 € more at pccomponentes you have the k version in case you ever think about it..
I don't know about that motherboard... I wanted to get an asus one but I was recommended the asrock z77 extreme 4 in a lot of places besides here...
For that price you can get better brand configurations and faster ram... I got myself some ripjaw from gskill for 50 €... and by the way, I would recommend you not to get anything below 1666 and also I would say not above.

I live in Finland :), that's why I say that everything here will probably be more expensive than in Spain. That's why I use the stores http://www.jimms.fi/ and http://www.verkkokauppa.com/.
Is the Asrock you mentioned this one? (Z77 extreme 4):
http://www.jimms.fi/tuote/Z77-EXTREME4 - 149€
The gskill memories are not available in either of the two stores. How will I notice the differences between the 8GB 1333 I put in and some 1600?Regards,

if... it's that motherboard! it's not much more expensive than what I got here...
here's a link about the RAM...

The tower costs 855€, with the remaining capital I think you'll find a 22" LED 1080p monitor with DVI. If it's a bit more expensive, stretch the budget but don't give up anything from what I've listed (digital connection, size, FullHD resolution and LED backlighting).
P.D.: I forgot the link to the graphics card, if I remember correctly the one that fit the budget was a 7850 Sapphire.

Next week I'll finally get it, any changes you think are appropriate :P? (a month has passed, suddenly there is some significant change in some component)
By the way, if I want an nvida alternative instead of ATI for the 7850, what model could I get? (I've been with ati all my life and have been using linux a lot lately, I was considering switching)
