      Hello everyone:

After a long time with my pc, you helped me choose the parts, I'm back to ask for your advice again.

These are the parts that a friend recommended to me.

I have also read a config that a colleague posted in this section.

      Complete PC 750€ - HardLimit

Which one do you recommend or what improvements would you make?

Maximum price 1000, which does not mean that we have to squeeze it jeje. And the pc is for gaming. Right now it would be for BF3, and then for whatever comes next, but I wouldn't like to have to change pc or parts after a short time.

The pc I have lasted me 4-5 years and I'm retiring it because at work I need a pc and I bring mine that I know works, otherwise I wouldn't retire it.

      Regards and thanks.

Hello Caparso, I think it looks very good except for the power supply, I would opt for one of better quality not guided by the colors XD.

        I prefer this one

        Corsair CX600 V2 600W Builder Series CMPSU-600CXV2 Power Supply

and if you want something better and with good power for a long time the Corsair TX650 although it goes up to 73€ but with that one it will work perfectly, besides knowing how to assemble it I would save the assembly and invest it in the pc, I see the rest as good the case is not to my taste but it will serve you and for tastes there are colors.

        Regards.

Don't mind the box, I was just passed the configuration as it was, but I'll use one I have at home, which was sent to me by mistake.

Then I'll look into installing the assembly myself so I can save money.

I've taken the font issue into account, and would we improve something like graphics? Or on the contrary, can you play without problems for a long time with less money?

Boxes by mistake I want one too ehh XD. The graphics I don't see well, I haven't tried this new series but they don't talk badly about it, the 660 from nvidia will come out for June-July as they say but who knows what price, I think if you want to play and it supports you don't go below that power level, you can play but if you can buy that one or its equivalent in Nvidia, I think it's pretty good even though I don't know how good these new ivys are.

In that case, the graphics card as is, won't be touched. If for paying a few more euros, it's going to be better and I'm going to enjoy it more, and it's going to last longer on the PC I'll look into it, now if it's already starting to be an expense that won't be compensated we'll leave it be.

Then, the issue of the Crucial M4 128gb ssd sata3, what is this?

Is it worth getting more RAM? More than 8gb? Get 2 x 4 or better 1 x 8?

The ram I think is better 2x4 and you have 2 free seats for the future even though with 8 I think it will be more than enough, the ssd you refer to is a solid state drive sata at 6gb/s that for operating system and some games will go very well and now it is at a pretty good price.
The graphics already at those levels I am quite picky and I would stay with the highest of a core that I could afford XD the 7870 in this case but with that you will be able to play perfectly with everything at full with a normal monitor of course.

So the ram is better 2 x 4. The same model that I have?

Thanks for the info about the ssd, I didn't know that.

And with the card in this case, the one that is already installed, since the monitor is the one from my signature, initially.

                  Regards and thanks.

I would put these in the memory. G.Skill Ares DDR3 1600 PC3-12800 8GB 2x4GB CL9 F3-1600C9D-8GAO DDR3 Memory The ones you have in that budget are a single module and these are 2 modules and improve the latencies and it is 1€ more. I see the rest as quite balanced, especially paying attention to the power supply. Best regards.

One question, which of these monitors do you recommend?

                        Asus VS239H LED IPS 23" VS239H Monitor

                        BenQ G2420HD 24" Full HD DVI/HDMI 9H.L3ALB.QBE Monitor

Aesthetically I like the first one more, but the second one because of the price it has and the comments…..

                        Thanks.

Well, the Asus seems to have better contrast and the Benq better brightness, they are quite similar, I personally like the Asus more but I think both are good choices, the Benq has 1 inch more to say. The Asus has a 14ms response time but it also specifies that it is an IPS so it is normal, I would opt for the Asus but let's see if any forum member gives you a more opinion and you decide XD.

If I chose the Benq it's because it has a slightly lower price and an extra inch, but of course, I've also seen the reviews...

I've never had a monitor from this brand, but if it's good for gaming, which is what I want, it suits me, I almost buy it, but I'm waiting to see if anyone can comment on it.

                            Thanks.

I've had asus and now I have a Benq to play, either one of them will work perfectly, right now I would go for the Asus because of the IPS but it also says LED, I don't really understand how good it will be, but I've had a very good experience with both brands.

                                  I would change the following:

                                  • Corsair TX 650 (much more serious than the CX and with that 5-year warranty that you want it to last)
                                  • G.Skill Ares 2x4GB 1333MHz (5 bucks saved that you won't notice in performance, and you can always overclock them to 1600)
                                  • 2500K + Hyper 212 EVO (and you give it some juice)

And if you could make the effort, go all out with the case. You can gain a lot in comfort with filters, silence, cooling or whatever you value, and it's something you'll appreciate for many years because you'll be able to use it in the next computer.

Editing: IPS is the panel, which is noticeable in the color and is usually better but many of the budget ones can malfunction with games.

BenQ has and has had some pretty decent quality/price models but I'm not up to date on monitors so it's better to look at some reviews or stop by a store to take a look.

PD: If you can't stretch for a good case I would almost get the NOX NX2 and later mount good fans (Be Quiet SilentWings 2 of 140 on top and Gentle Typhoon 1150 behind, if you were to mount a CrossfireX a Gentle Typhoon 800 on the side-bottom with Cooltek filter on the outside for easy cleaning).

I take into account the issue of the source, since I would like the pc to last me at least the same as the one I have had, which is about 4-5 years.

The memos, well, I also take that into account, although for 5 euros at the final price it doesn't matter much.

I don't want to do OC, maybe in a few years it will be worth it, but I don't want to touch anything on the pc.

I have the case that they sent me by mistake. Tacens Sagitta Lux. I don't want to get another one because this one has lasted for 4 years and I will take advantage of it even if it's not the best.

Thanks for the IPS thing. I will look at the comments to see which one of the two I decide on, although from what I read at first glance both looked good.

                                    Thanks.

They are not going to drop the 7800 by much, if you can't afford a bigger effort, buy the 7850 now. If you can stretch it, the GTX 660 might be more successful than the 7870, I suppose it will cost and perform a little more, we will have news soon.
