Your favorite mail service

I wanted to try something different from Yahoo, Google and Microsoft services, and I have started to test GMX, with results ranging from disastrous to up, since after creating it I have only been able to enter the email once, it always tells me that the password is incorrect and even resetting it with the new one tells me the same. And of course, with that alone I have already had more problems in a day than with Gmail or Yahoo in all the time I have had them.
And with that, curiosity got the better of me, what email service do Hardlimit forum members use the most? And if you tell me why, then even better;).
I voted for Gmail. Fast, stable, great capacity and power, use of IMAP, well integrated with Android (what else would be expected)…
I used to like Yahoo, but I think they now put obstacles to the configuration of email clients.
Edit: If any moderator/admin thinks that the polls subforum is a better place, move it there, I hadn't even remembered its existence xD.

I think this is going to be very competitive…
Personally, I have only used Gmail (which I voted for), Hotmail, Yahoo and, at the beginning of the modern era, the one from my Internet provider (Eresmas I think it was).
Without a doubt, the one I use the most is Gmail, both for work and personal use. Not only because of the integration with Android, which is a lot. But also because of the calendars and associated services.
Best regards -
I use Gmail and hotmail although Gmail beats MS's service by a hundred thousand miles, especially because it has IMAP and the webmail complies with web standards.

I use Gmail for my best or the one with the least or no errors and more so being an Android user as it makes tasks easier for me, I started with hotmail but I don't like it at all even though I still maintain that account, I also have AOL from a long time ago but I rarely use it, as I say Gmail I like it for me it has improved a lot and its integrated gtalk I use quite a bit even though less and less with wathapp but it's very good, it has good storage capacity it's fast and it's perfect for saving the contacts from the mobile. -
I have a hotmail and a live (hotmail also) in a serious way with my name but the one from Timofón POP3 worked much better for me, until it had problems with Firefox, and at that time Chrome was not what it is today.
I don't ask much from the email, for weight I have Dropbox so I don't consider the change, besides when the people you are interested in communicating with have your email it's a move to change it.

If that Mail is, for example from hotmail, it's enough to do a redirection to the account you use. I have it that way and my Hotmail mails are received in a specific folder in Gmail.
Best regards.

Holy shit, that's true :ugly:
The thing is, I don't ask much from email, when I re-registered Timofón they closed the account I had and I haven't even opened another one or reactivated the previous one if it's possible, for now I'm fine but thanks for the suggestion

I have always used gmail, but since they forced me to change to googlemail, I have leaned more towards ymail (yahoo). It works very well for me too. It has all the services and a web interface if you need it that is convincing me more than Google's.

I use Gmail for personal stuff, private server for work. Many years ago I used an MSN account (@msn.com) that I still used until recently for an MSDN account I had, but I changed the email about a month ago to link it with the work email (which is who pays for the MSDN subscription :troll: ). When I registered on hardlimit I think I used a terra.es account.

Who is the one who has voted pass on email :ugly

Who is going to be, L'enfant terrible de Hardlimit, who is that guy :ugly::ugly:
Best regards

The indrediboy, XD is quiet, you pass by email and you register on a thousand sites XD

Hehe, how are you doing with Incredi.
Today they solved my problem with the GMX account, I'm going to keep testing it to see how it goes.
For those of you who use Yahoo... does it allow IMAP use? Because I have the feeling that they have captured many things.
And for those of Gmail... with IMAP it makes a mess with the folders tremendous. Emails that I thought I had deleted are sometimes in the "all" folder, even emptying the trash. I like to have more control over my emails.

hello this the truth is that I can say that I use email very little, lately a little more let's say four or five emails to two different people and receive that really interest me ( that is not spam ) two or three at most. that's why I don't ask much from yahoo ( in its day I also had hotmail ) the only problem that yahoo has for me is the size limit for the files you send attached ( to send a photo to a relative I needed 6 emails and they were only 34 photos. I hope iforos is clearer than me ;D

I don't use it, although it seems that yes … Set up IMAP on my mobile device | Mobile Help
Regarding the limitation of the size of emails, I usually don't use email for many or large files (for that I use pando or dropbox or similar), so I haven't noticed that limitation.

I'll try with Yahoo to see if I can get IMAP to work. For now, I've tried it with GMX and it's less chaotic than Gmail. I don't like Gmail's 'all' folder, and creating [Imap]/Trash, [Imap]/Drafts, and [Imap]/Sent messes things up more. There are ways to configure Thunderbird so that this doesn't happen, but I don't like having to search around.

GMail works, and very well. I do not ask for more from an email client… In fact, since GMail appeared on the scene, I stopped using Thunderbird.
I have an account on Hotmail, some on Wanadoo and another on Yahoo, but in my opinion GMail goes quite ahead.
