MSN crashes the computer

Hello, this is a case of a client that is driving me crazy.
He gives me an HP laptop with Windows 7 for me to do a recovery and install various software. I do it and give it back to him and after a day he calls me and tells me that MSN is not working, that it crashes. I go and indeed it is like that, MSN gets stuck, slows down the computer, which is bad, and also those who hear you in a video conference only hear strange noises. If you close MSN everything runs smoothly. No problems.
I take it back, remove the hard drive and put a new empty one on which I do a Windows 7 installation from scratch, only the operating system, the drivers, the updates and MSN… and the same problem, MSN gets stuck and leaves the computer that can barely get the task manager to close it. And the same as before, if you close MSN everything goes great.
The guy says that before MSN worked well for him, which is why I am confused. I install the version I downloaded from MSN, I think it is MSN Live 2011... isn't it?

Does anyone have any idea why this could be? It's not a virus or spyware problem, it's not along those lines.

Is there no other version of MSN?

Try another video conferencing program like Skype, make sure there is no problem with the microphone or webcam cables.

Problems with the sound driver?.. try updating the laptop's BIOS and chipset and audio drivers.

I couldn't solve the problem, I just did a recovery again and the problem was solved. That's it. Very strange.
