RAMdisk in W7 64 Ultimate, FAT32 or NTFS?
-
Hello, I would like to know what is the best type of configuration to create a RAMdisk intended to host the cache of the system and the installed software, including Adobe Photoshop.
The goal is for it to be much faster. FAT32 or NTFS?
And if you can tell me about any good software that you know of to create the RAMdisk, that would be even better.
Thanks in advance and goodbye.

you put it like this and it's done, but as far as I know it uses FAT32
but here you have good info on how to use it: http://professionalsat.blogspot.com.es/2010/03/ramdisk-en-windows-7-x64-satsoftware.html best regards

Thank you very much for the link, it is very interesting, but I still have the same doubt, FAT32 or NTFS for the RAMdisk? Which option offers better performance?
I can't find ANYTHING about it by googling.
Best regards.

FAT32 Vs NTFS, FAT32 is faster, but it has some drawbacks, such as the limitation on file size.
Salu2!

Thanks Fassou. The intention is to create it under W7 64, for the cache files. I don't know if I can create the RAMdisk in FAT32, with the system in NTFS.
Saludos.
