Weird on-screen message
-
Hello, I'm putting it here because I don't know where to put this hehe. The thing is that sometimes, when it happens, the computer in question starts everything, but it doesn't make any beep, and it doesn't show any image…... I turn it off, and when I turn it on, three things can happen,
one everything goes well,
two it tells me if I want to start Windows in safe mode or normal,
and the third option is a message from the bios saying to choose whether to load the normal configuration, or the overclocking configuration that has failed. The thing is that it was overclocked a couple of years ago for a week, but then it went back to its normal configuration....... so now it doesn't have overclock.
let's see if this sounds familiar to you. Thanks!

Check temperatures and run a memtest.
I'm leaning towards the latter.
-
Brush over the graphics and memory slots to remove dust.
Then enter the BIOS and load the default values, save, reboot, and configure the BIOS again to your liking.
If it repeats, start thinking about Memtest or that the power supply is faulty.
Regards!

ok, I'll take note... this is a never-ending story! hahaha I think I already set the default values last time, I just loaded them when it gave me the two options of default values or to continue with the ones from the supposed overclocking... I've taken out the memories, cleaned them even though they were spotless, and hey, it's started up twice well... we'll see how it goes next time, because it's been a hit and miss so far.
