hello the right site would be on motherboards.
i don't know what is sadder, searching and not finding or not searching and asking :wall:
what's wrong with me or have I messed up???? - HardLimit

It's not just about not searching the forum... it's about not reading the board manual (if that book that comes with the board written in several languages). In it you will find all the information about the faults that the board notifies you, beeps, LEDS and other messages.
It will be a pleasure to help you when you bother to put the model of the board and you have investigated a little about the origin of the problem.

Well it's the 1st time I build a pc; I understand something about computer science but about things like assembly and parts I'm terrible. I've gone over the manual a few times but I can't find what you're telling me... maybe I'm clumsy, I don't know but there's nothing related to the beeps on my motherboard. I also looked at the cd and the guide which by the way is all in English or Chinese; and I can't find anything about the beeps.

Motherboard: Asrock z77 Pro4
Graphics: Sapphire Radeon HD 7870 2gb ddr5
Processor: I5 2500k 3,3ghz

man Nemo, you are absolutely right, but after ruling out the option of the motherboard manual the next option is to put in google:

in the manual of my old m4n82 deluxe the issue of beeps is on page 2-39 BIOS Beep and it's not to be repetitive but, all motherboard manufacturers have the option to download manuals and for English which is not my strong point ….. there are online translators
