Hello,
I had the Williams F1 steering wheel for PS2. It works perfectly on the PS2, because I already doubted… but I bought a Gamware adapter to use PS2 controllers on PS3 and PC and it installs the adapter files well, but when I connect the steering wheel to the adapter, theoretically it should recognize it and install its drivers. The problem is that it doesn't, in fact the steering wheel doesn't even turn on. Normally as soon as you connect it to the PS2 all its lights turn on, but on the PC, nothing... dead...I'm surprised because what I've read from people who have had problems is that they couldn't configure it very well... but at least it detected it... can anyone help me???
thanks to all.

What system do you have? Let's see if it's a matter of compatibility with new systems... If so, maybe you can solve it with XP compatibility mode (just kidding xD).

hello,
I have windows 7 64bit.
about what you say about compatibility…. what should I do? Forgive my ignorance but.... how can I do with "compatibility mode XP...? or windows 7....I thought that by downloading drivers from the steering wheel, etc... I could, but I have not found drivers anywhere.
thanks Obione.

I suppose you can right-click on the "driver" or whatever you have installed to detect the steering wheel, and select Options-> Compatibility-> Run this program in compatibility mode with: Windows XP, Windows 98, etc…
Best regards

Install with XP compatibility mode to see what happens, otherwise do what Sylver says. Right-click on the executable (properties) and you will find it in the compatibility tab.
