Hola que tal.. estoy muy perdido por el foro, la verdad es que casi no dispongo de tiempo para entrar… Uno se hace mayor y las prioriades son otras.. bueno al tema..

Estoy pensando dar un poco mas de velocidad a mi equipo, de momento no creo que cambie ni procesador ni memos,ni placa...; asi que veo que es una buena opcion instalar un SSD, ahora que los de: 240 Mb / 256 Mb estan bien de precio, os pido consulta acerca del tema.

-La placa no tiene SATA3, supongo que los SSD funcionan bien aunque a menor velocidad con controladoras SATA2. ??

-Se puede clonar un disco SATA en un SSD..??

-Hay discos SSD que tienen la memoria FLASH: Asincrona y otros Sincrona, que diferencia hay.??

Un SSD SATA3 te funcionará perfectamente en un puerto SATA2. Aunque el rendimiento no sea óptimo, no creo que se note mucho en el uso real.

Personalmente tengo 3 Crucial M4 y un OCZ Agility. Los Crucial tienen mejor prensa en durabilidad y rendimiento. En test, me da mejor el Crucial 120Gb que el OCZ 120Gb.

En los síncronos la controladora transfiere datos en el ciclo ascendente y descendente de reloj lo que teóricamente duplica la cantidad de bytes transmitidos (como la memoria DDR en su momento) aunque la realidad es que la diferencia no es del doble porque el cuello de botella lo tiene en el acceso a disco.

En los SSD hay problemas de degradación de datos relacionado con el número de veces que una celda puede cambiar de valor. Por ahí se habla de 10.000 cambios en celda (estimado claro, porque podría durar mucho más). Pero con las funciones de trim y otras creo que esto es poco representativo (aunque ya te diré si me arrepiento de esta afirmación dentro de un par de años). Por eso se recomienda no defragmentar el disco para evitar movimientos de datos innecesarios.

Hay un programa (SSDlife) que estima la duración del disco en función de esta degradación.

Pues sigo con mi anticuado XP SP3 que me va muy bien, tengo un parche para que funcione XP en modo AHCI, sin reinstalar el S.O. imagen la hare con Acronis, que siempre me ha ido bien..

Por cierto se me olvido preguntaros el tema de las controladoras, MARVELL o SANDFORCE..?
