What graphics card do I need
-
hello I have been given the game Crysis 3 as a gift but when I install it it says that I do not have a compatible graphics processor with DX11.
I have the following equipment: motherboard Gigabyte GA-EP45-ds3 a DualCore Intel Core 2 Duo E7300 processor,
2666 MHZ (10x267) total memory 4094 MB
I have an Ati radeon HD 4850 graphics card and video accelerator and I have DirectX v10.1
with this equipment could I play Crysis 3 or would I have to change the graphics card what do you recommend thank you -
minimum, which requires a Dual Core CPU, 2 or 3 Gb of RAM and a graphics card compatible with DirectX 11 and 1GB of RAM.
The "recommended" requirements ask for the same type of card but demand a Quad Core CPU and 4 GB of RAM.but if you change the graphics card you would have to spend some money 100/180 euros
Sapphire Radeon HD 7770 1GB GDDR5 - approx 100 euros
Sapphire Radeon HD 7770 Vapor-X GHz E OC 1GB GDDR5 - approx 120 euros (for price performance the best option)
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 650 Ti OC 1GB GDDR5 - approx 145 euros (good option)
Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 Dual-X 1GB GDDR5 - approx 160 euros
Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 Dual-X 2GB GDDR5 - approx 180 eurosit all depends on what you can or want to spend, the HD 7770 Vapor-X GHz E OC 1GB GDDR5
is your best option because your processor can't handle much moreregards

The minimum requirements for crysis 3 are as follows:Minimum requirements:
• Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8
• DirectX 11 card with 1Gb RAM
• Dual core CPU
• 2GB Memory (3GB in Vista)
• (Nvidia/Intel):
– Nvidia GTS 450
– Intel Core2 Duo 2.4 Ghz (E6600)
• AMD):
– AMD Radeon HD5770
– AMD Athlon64 X2 2.7 Ghz (5200+)Your card does not comply with DX11. Therefore, you should not be able to run the game unless there is some way to "skip" that, and be able to run it on another API.
Anyway, with how demanding it is in other aspects, even if you had a DX11 graphics card, the rest of the components would not be up to par to have a decent minimum playability.
Best regards.

man …. I never look at the minimums ( and then things happen :troll:)
Recommended Requirements:
Operating System: Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8.
Graphics card compatible with DirectX 11 and 1GB of memory like Nvidia GTX 560 or AMD Radeon HD 5870.
CPU: Quad Core like Intel Core i3-530 or AMD Phenom II X2 565
RAM: 4GB.come on, more than a 560 a 660 ti and more than an i3 an I5
regards
P.D I really liked the first one ( and I had to upgrade my computer :eoh:) the second ….. I did the annual format without finishing it ( and I didn't feel sorry at all :troll:) and the third...... when it's worth 9 euros I might give it a chance. -
Thank you very much for your reply, I had forgotten to mention that I use the Windows 7 64 bit system and I have checked the version of dx in the dx dialog and it turns out that I have the DirectX 11 version installed with 14345 MB available and yet the game says that the graphics processor is not compatible with DirectX 11.
I would like to know if you were ferelxyx who would have to choose for yourself with a computer like the one I have what would be your opinion the best solution, and by the way that it would last me a few years because not long ago I have this one.Pd since I am in the process of updating what other things do you recommend that I should change or update. thank you very much.

P.D. Since I am in the process of updating what other things do you recommend that I should change or update. Thank you very much. But there is no need to think about it any more. Your graphics is DirectX10.1 and you need a DirectX11.No you can make it work, it is not compatible…you need another one. But already for a P45 and core duo, I was seriously thinking about what to change before the graphics itself..

Hello again I have found this graphic
GRAPHIC CARD 2GB GIGABYTE GTX650 PCX3.0 DDR5 HDMI
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 650 2GB OC, GeForce GTX 650, NVIDIA, 1110 MHz, 2048 MB, GDDR5-SDRAM, 128 Bit
price 124€.
But I refer to what I said above what is your advice. Thanks again. -

price 124€.
But I refer to what I said before what is your advice. Thanks again. You are much better off stretching to the 650Ti, the 650 is very bad, the 650Ti is much better, this same
MSI GeForce GTX 650 Ti OC 1GB GDDR5 912-V280-040 Graphic CardOr this one with 2GB of memory although I don't think they will be of much use in those cards.
http://www.pccomponentes.com/zotac_geforce_gtx_650_ti_2gb_gddr5.htmlor in AMD a 7850, it would be the most powerful that 7850.
Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 Dual-X 1GB GDDR5 11200-16-20G Graphic Card
I would even look for a second-hand 470 or 560Ti, which will probably cost you the same as that 650 and the game will run much better as they are much more powerful.
Although you also have to take into account the CPU, I don't know how Crysis 3 will run with a dual, you will have to upgrade that CPU.

A second-hand GTX560Ti can be a great option :sisi:
Salu2!

price 124€.
But I refer to what I said before what is your advice. Thanks again.if you don't want to spend money the radeon 7770 is your best option - 100 euros approx this is better and cheaper than the 650
if you can a little more the radeon 7770 vaporX OC - 120 euros approx this is almost as powerful as the 650Ti and is cheaper
a little more the GTX 650Ti OC 145 euros approxit's that you don't say what you can spend or what you want, because your equipment is currently outdated
either you put one of those graphics or you get something second-hand or you change the whole equipmentwe would have to know what power supply you have and what case, because if the power supply is weak it's bad and the case is small then there are problems with the graphics

hello ferelyx what i want is to overclock it as much as possible i disassembled the pc and the power supply is a neox 600 W
THE HEATSINK is a freser extrrem which by the way is big.
i would like to know if the motherboard will last me another few years. in case of yes which processor would you put in it or on the contrary if you think i will waste money and have a mess or would it be better to build a new pc but for a gamer. thanks -
if you can afford it new PC.

or better if you can buy a new one and try to sell the one you haveregards

Man, I would buy a decent mid-range graphics card, and then if you change your PC for a better one, you'll keep using it because I see that they last a long time. A 7850/70 with 2GB of memory would be just right, without a doubt prioritize the graphics card because the rest of your equipment might limit you 10% I don't think much more.
