Hello, I have been searching the web for several days to find out why my new PC turns off when I play games. To turn it back on, I have to stop the power supply and wait about 10 seconds (I assume it is to discharge the internal capacitors) and when I turn it back on, the computer starts up by itself.
I do not think it is due to temperatures since I monitored it and the motherboard does not reach 30ºC, the micro reaches 50-55ºC and the graphics between 50 and 60ºC.
The PC has:
Asus M5A97 LE Rev2.0
AMD fx-8320 with an Arctic Cooling CPU Freezer 13 cooler
8GB of RAM at 1866MHz
Nvidea GT630 of 2GB
The power supply is a Cooler Master E-600 of 600WI do not know what it could be, according to what I have read it could be due to the power supply being broken or malfunctioning, but I think that is not my case
All suggestions are welcome

I assume you have the extra power connectors on the motherboard and graphics card connected. I saw the same problem and the problem is that they had not mounted the connector on the graphics card and at the time of playing it did not work
I think there is more than enough power in that power supply, but if it is not delivered where it should be, the line is loaded and it turns off

it is a complicated question because it can be many different things
the first thing I look at on a PC when it has problems is the dirt and that everything is well connected
the best option is to disassemble everything, clean it and put it back together again, checking the connections wellthen it can be from the source, the memory, the graphics, the processor or the motherboard
everything is to try and rule out things, but the first thing is cleaning and verifying that everything is well connectedregards

The PC is newly assembled, it's a couple of weeks old, everything is clean and well connected (the extra power supply for the motherboard is connected, but the graphics card doesn't have one)
Could it be that I was short with 600W for the power supply????? -
Well, it's most likely the power supply, but it could be the motherboard, the graphics card, or even a poorly mounted heatsink causing the micro to restart due to overheating. Where did you buy it? Either tell the seller and let them figure out what's wrong, or start troubleshooting yourself, beginning with the power supply by trying another one. -

how do you have the memory and the CPU configured?
have you put the latest bios on the motherboard?
that graphics card will be quite tight, but it seems more of a configuration problem, the power supply should be more than enough, although some power supplies if they are bad will turn off the computer, this happens to me with a Tacens, in my case it is the power supply that is bad, but there may be more things in your case.Curiously, a Tacen of more than 600W fails me and one of 420W doesn't.
If the power supply is good, it is more than enough for that computer, it should be more than enough.
