Tips: Avoid monstrous copy-pastes. Be specific about what you have done and the results you have, so that you can formulate one or several specific questions, if you have any.

FORGIVE SYLVER OK LOOK AT MY AMD FX 4100 I BOOSTED IT FROM 3.60 Mgh TO 4.00 Mghz BUT I COULDN'T BECAUSE THE SCREEN TURNED BLACK, NO ERRORS OR ANYTHING BUT WELL I THINK UP TO 4GHZ IS GOOD NOW THE DOUBT IS FROM THE BIOS WHICH BUS SPEED WOULD BE RECOMMENDED, WITH WHAT I HAVE IT'S GOOD IT DOESN'T GIVE ME FAULTS AND WITH THE PRIME 95 IT'S PERFECT, AND THE MEMORIES HOW CAN I INCREASE THE MEMORY FREQUENCY FROM THE BIOS? MY KINGSTON MEMORIES GO TO ABOUT 650 MHZ.

How long have you run Prime 95 and in what mode? At least 2 hours, but 8 is better.
The recommended bus speed is the one at which the micro can handle and pass the stress test without problems, always with a decent temperature. When the screen goes black, it is because it can't support more frequency, or that it probably needs more voltage, be careful with the latter.
In the BIOS you should be able to modify the RAM frequency, look for the section and set the frequency you want.

            Regards

hello silver I left the prime 95 on for an afternoon and I didn't get the lopuse in torture test mode but the one that comes marked with the checkbox by default I don't know if I did it right, no cores in red that's a good sign, with this configuration done by hand in the bios that is to say with pen and paper it's not a copy paste jajaja l: that's how I have the bios this is in OC mode my bios is one of these new ones called UEFI from asrock, my processor is an AMD 4100 fx ah and my monitor is a 40 inch one at 60 mhz

              OCmode=manual mode

              Load optimizedMGPU OC setting=manual mode

              CPUconfiguration

              overclok mode =manual

CPUFrequenzy (mhz) 200 (you can increase the values between 100 and 500 I think but I left it as it was)

              Cpu dynamic overcloking= disable

Pcie frequency( mghz) 100 (here too there are some values but I left it as it was (I don't know what they are for)

              Spead spectrum=auto

              CPu active core control= disabled

              AMd turbocore technology=disabled

              current AMD status=disabled

              Amd application power management=auto

cpu frequency multiplier x20.0 4000 mhz

              cpu voltage 1.2875 V

              NB frequency multiplier x 10.0 2000 mhz

              cpu NB voltage 1.2875 V

              Ht bus speed 2200 V

              ht bus widht 16 bit

              The DRAM that's there…

              the DRAM frequency DDR3 =800

              ONBOARD gpu clock override= disabled

now is when I see something that I have good almost as it came

              voltage control

              CPU load line calibration= disabled

              Dram voltage 1.50 V

              nb core voltage 1.30.

well like this with the prime 95 it doesn't give me any error or it doesn't say that any core has failed

if I raise it more than 4000 when I do the test it says that two cores (not working)

any tips for this configuration? and sorry for the mega post I know you told me but this is not a copy paste I have it written down with pen and paper

Sylver, with "Y" if you don't mind. Thanks.

                Too much information...

I'll tell you that you can increase the CPU frequency without going too far, for example to 300 and lower the CPU frequency multiplier a couple of points, so as to leave it at x18.0 for example. Then you can try to increase something more in both progressively depending on stability, but I'm already telling you that you will have to touch the CPU voltage soon, and this is very delicate, I recommend reading more thoroughly about voltages in AMD FX.

First of all, activate the Load Line Calibration, and from NOW study this:

perdona SYLVER jeje hostia gracias por los consejos, ves que servia poner mi confi de la bios pero una cosilla si lo bajo a x18 lo bajaré menos de 4,00 GHZ no? y luego si me voy a leer ya el link que me has pasado

The truth is that the vast majority of them were not very useful. If you read a dictionary beforehand, like the one I sent you along with a simple guide, you would know what the main parameters are, and even which values are the most recommended for them.

If you lower the multiplier but increase the FSB (CPU frequency), you can reach the same figure. It's as simple as:

                    200 x20.0 = 4,00 Ghz

                    225 x18.0 = 4,05 Ghz

By the way, I told you earlier "for example 300" in the FSB but I didn't do the math, that would be 5,4 Ghz and I don't think it would be stable at first, you would have to touch voltage and more things. For now, go up as in the example I just gave you, something like 225-230 and keep going up little by little, you can lower the multiplier if necessary.

I don't know about voltages, so do a little research on google and when you know how much you can increase it, then you can deal with it.

                    Regards
