Motherboard for NAS
-
Hello everyone!!
I am looking for a low power motherboard to build a NAS,
I am looking for:
- Low power consumption, 24/7 on
- CPU integrated on the motherboard, we do not need much power, since the idea is to install a linux without a graphical interface.
- The more SATA connections the better.
I have looked for motherboards with Atom, or with AMD EXXX
with intel, I have not found motherboards with more than 2 SATAs, at a reasonable price. I have found motherboards with 6 SATAs for more than 200 €
With AMD I have found motherboards with more SATAs at a good price:
ASUS C60M1-I -> High price
Asrock E350M1 -> 70 €
Asrock E35LM1 -> 55 €Has anyone bought a motherboard of this style, and can you recommend me?
Thank you very much to all

Great idea with the Raspberry, I didn't know about putting SATAs on it...
I hadn't seen that board.
Thank you very much!!

Of the ones you mention, the one with the lowest power consumption is the Asus. Here is the TDP of the AMD micros for these platforms:

The RaspberryPi is advisable if you like to tinker. As for consumption, no x86 board can match it.
