It's not very complicated, it prevents browsers from using Delta Search as a homepage or as a default search engine, to do this, simply set a blank page as the default, and/or choose another search engine.
(Tools - Options - General) for Firefox
(Tools - Internet Options - General) for IE
With this it should be enough.
Oh, and don't forget to run MalWareBytes afterwards. -
If you put the branch title in google you will find the solution, let us know how it went for you.

Hello again, I have already done the explanations they give in the video, and it seems that I have managed to delete that delata but the browsers do not respond as they should, with internet explorer I do exactly as in the video but when I reopen it always gives me a blank page, I have tried everything but when I open the browser it always opens with a blank page, what else can I do. Thank you. -
In firefox, to open new tabs with your chosen search engine, you have to put in the navigation bar this:
about:config
Now in the search tab you put:
browser.newtab.url
In that entry, you change the value and write: Google (or the search engine you want)
You save and close, in this way every time you open a tab it won't come up blank, but with Google or with the search engine you have set.
Greetings

Hello Sylver. Well, even so, there was no way to change the search engine start page.
What happened was the following: on another page that also explained how to remove the Delta search engine, well explained by the way, and I did everything they told me, then I had to download a free program called
iSafe for cleaning. Well, the thing is that I installed this program, which is pretty good and free, and it was this program that controlled the search engines of the browsers. It never crossed my mind that this program could be the culprit, but after trying everything possible, including uninstalling Firefox and Chrome and reinstalling them, but nothing worked, the darn blank page, I was desperate and didn't know what to do. I started to poke around this iSafe program and to my surprise, I discovered that it was the culprit of my misfortune. Well, I set the search engines for each browser in iSafe and it worked. Well, thanks to everyone. -
No, I can't believe it.
That you say that to get rid of something as simple as delta search, you have installed a program, that not only does not serve for cleaning, but is a keylogger, to me is more than outrageous.
I hope there is another program with the same name that really serves for what you say, or that I have misunderstood your message, because right now I don't know what to think. :rabieta::mad:Description of the program as exposed in Download.com
@http://es.download.cnet.com:iSafe All-in-One Keylogger helps you keep an eye on your children or employees or your spouse's computer and report all activities in time by email in an invisible mode. iSafe All-in-One Keylogger allows you to monitor and record all activities on your computer. It includes: screen captures, websites browsed, keystrokes, all clipboard copy and paste, password, microphone, application uses, 2-IM chat address (MSN, Skype, AIM, Yahoo Messenger, ICQ), Facebook and Myspace used, USB Drive used, CD-Rom used, documents printed, microphone sound. It runs in the background in full stealth mode and send the reports to your email in a timely manner.

Hello Whoololon. well it must be another program that I have downloaded is iSafe 2.5.104 and of course nothing appears of what you comment I have looked at it well and everything is thought for cleaning and acceleration of the software
and I have been testing it and of course it is fast simple and light, it even teaches you the network traffic and which programs are using more memory in a small window above the clock. well I have reviewed it from top to bottom and I can't find anything of what you say.
What I have noticed is that it doesn't come with any help option or who the authors of the program are apart from that I am delighted with it. -
Try this:
Change the default search engine in Firefox | Informático de GuardiaIt's for Firefox
-
MaxLG I had already tried that but I repeat that if you don't have it in the isafe program like the browser's search engine there is nothing you can do
-
- The DeltaSearch, or delta search engine is simply a search engine with limited functions, unless it has been installed on the system (either voluntarily or involuntarily), it is enough to change the home page and set another search engine to remove it.
- If it has been installed for whatever reason, any antimalware would detect and remove it. Without having to resort to that, it can be uninstalled from the control panel as if it were a conventional program, additionally applying the changes described above.
- This has already been exposed and repeated in this thread by several users (whose only interest is to help, that is beyond doubt), simply because it is the only way to do it.
Now, for whatever reason we prefer the hard way, and we decide to install more programs to remove other programs, that is within the freedom of judgment of each one.
In your case you have opted for iSafeR.
That yes, trying to look carefully, because a simple letter can cause misunderstandings that should be avoided.

Well I'm sorry to contradict you Whoololon, but it's not iSafeR either. I found it if you put in the search engine is
iSafe 2.5.104 and there the program in question appears
