Hello again forum members, I need your help again if you can. I've been paid for a job I was owed, so I have some unexpected extra money and I've decided to invest it in my PC before it goes on other frivolities and not wait any longer, since whenever I try to "save" something always comes up that messes things up.

The thing is, as I mentioned in the graphics card thread (in case anyone who read there sees me here :ugly:), I'm going to upgrade my PC a bit more since I got the new graphics card.

I'm not aiming for great things, ok? I just want to keep doing the same things I do now but a little better and more relaxed for little money, now that it seems like hardware is cheap. Later on, in a few months, I'll consider a bigger upgrade with "future" in mind.

To the point, my current setup consists of:

      -Nox 620 PSU
      -AMD Athlon 64 x2 3800+ (2.1Ghz)
      -MSI/K9N4 Ultra F (MS-7310) motherboard
      -3gb DDR2 800 RAM

      • And my new Sapphire 7770 Oc 1gb GDDR5

The thing is that I've started looking at processors and prices, for now it seems I'm leaning towards socket FM2 (I don't really understand the differences ) and a compatible motherboard, but while looking at processors I had a doubt, since I see that AMD's A6 have integrated graphics (are they APUs???) but it's not clear to me if they are quad-core or dual-core, and I also don't understand well if having an integrated graphics chip will be an advantage or a problem when having a dedicated graphics card (in fact, the motherboard I've been looking at also has an integrated AMD 7000).

I've been reading for a couple of days, but between not understanding English well and being a bit clumsy, I'm getting more and more confused, I need the help and guidance of someone who knows what they're talking about.
What I'm thinking of buying to build and renew my tower is as follows, so you can see:

      -Asrock FM2A75M-DGS - Motherboard Asrock FM2A75M-DGS 90-MXGMJ0-A0UAYZ Motherboard

      -Kingston HyperX Blu DDR3 1600 PC3-12800 4GB CL9 (with the idea of adding another 4gb module as soon as possible) Kingston HyperX Blu DDR3 1600 PC3-12800 4GB CL9 KHX1600C9D3B1/4G DDR3 Memory or Kingston HyperX Genesis DDR3 1600 PC3-12800 4GB (1x4GB)CL9 KHX1600C9D3/4G DDR3 Memory
      (I don't understand the difference…)

      • The 7770HD...

And the problem is, which of these three processors should I get to come out ahead compared to the rest of the equipment and what advantages or disadvantages do they have:

      -AMD A6-5400K 3.60Ghz AMD A6-5400K 3.60Ghz AD540KOKHJBOX Processor
      -AMD A6-6400K 3.90Ghz AMD A6-6400K 3.90Ghz AD640KOKHLBOX Processor
      -AMD Athlon II X4 740 3.2Ghz AMD Athlon II X4 740 3.2Ghz AD740XOKHJBOX Processor

My maximum budget is what I have available, which is 160€, and that's the tightest I've managed to get, I don't know if it's well chosen or if it's a mess…. And I also didn't know if to ask here or in the thread of complete configurations, but anyway, the doubt is which processor to buy from that price range, since the motherboard and RAM come hand in hand (the best possible at the minimum price to close the budget).

I think that even though the result is a humble PC, compared to what I have now I'll notice some improvement, and also the enjoyment of "unveiling" a PC. It will be the first time I dare to assemble it myself, so if you can help me understand which of these processors to choose, or correct any big mistake I'm making, I appreciate it a lot, and I fully trust the people of the forum, as always.

And I already know that for a little more you can get things that are a bit better and all that, but that's not the question, the question is here, now and that budget, as you know how life is, if I wait too much they'll bother me with some dinner, birthday or whatever and goodbye money foolishly U_U.

Greetings to all and thanks in advance even for just opening the post to look at it.;)

Yours would be to get this: AMD A10-6800K, because its integrated graphics is like yours and you can do crossfire, but it goes over your budget, because you have to buy micro plate and memories, 250/300 euros would be the most advisable This would be the lowest advisable and it goes over the price, approx 185 euros Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3 - Motherboard - 66 euros AMD FX Series FX-4130 3.8Ghz 4X - Processor - 85 euros G.Skill Ripjaws X DDR3 1600 PC3-12800 4GB 2x2GB CL9 - 35 euros regards

you could also look at the second-hand market, where you will always find interesting things
          for example:
Gigabyte GA-990XA-UD3 - 60€ Amazon warranty from February and April 2012

          Phenom 955 B.E.
Asus Crosshair III + SupremeFX X-Fi 120 € (the sound card that I remember comes standard with that MB :ugly:)

or something "half used" like Fun ebay
eBay stores - Socket FM1: Results found for fun-with-me.

Note: the items mentioned are not mine (since buying and selling items is prohibited in this forum) they are copy-paste from ads posted in other forums. and used as examples so you can see that you can find things at a good price.
          regards

Many thanks to both of you for the response, but so many.

You have already helped me to fix a clear idea of what I want. It's not that I don't trust second-hand, I do, but when it comes to people I know minimally or those that my acquaintances have given me very reliable references about, or that have a known physical location within my reach to which, if necessary, I can go to claim face to face. I know that on eBay it's enough to look at the reputation to know if someone is reliable, but well, I also don't see any great bargain that gets me out of the deal, and besides, you never know what use has been given to what you are resold nor, although at the time of buying it is good, how much useful life it has left given what it has carried with its previous owner (I refer to the case of hardware).

ferelxyx, what to say to you, thanks man for your attention and understanding towards those of us who are greener, you have helped me several times in the last threads that I have started with my doubts. I have saved the basket of the configuration that you have suggested, to see if I can stretch the budget up to there, which in the end is what I did with the graphics issue :ugly: If not, I will simply go for the immediately lower one within the same category.

Many thanks, as always when I ask for help when I make the purchase or comment on how it is ;D

The FM2s go up better but an AM3+ can be extended to an x8.

You could also consider buying a dual core G2120 and a B75 Pro3. Some games will appreciate 4 cores but later on you can put together a 3570 with another 2x2GB and have a pretty good setup.
