      @Manolico96:

      @Manolico96:

      saludos

It's an obvious thing but just in case: do you have the latest drivers installed from the nVidia website?

Well, thank you very much to everyone for responding.
          Answering your questions:
1)Yes, I have the latest nvidia drivers and I have also tried the latest beta.
2)No, I don't run bf3 on ultra at 60 fps but yes at 40 and that's fine with me ?
3)I haven't touched anything on the Nvidia control panel except v-sync and triple buffer which I always have activated.
4)The configuration of my default clocks (which is the one I use) is 1032MHZ core and 2700MHZ GDDR5 memory. When I play bf3 I underclock the core by 100 MHz because if I don't do it after about 30 minutes of playing it gives me a directx error and the game crashes (this only happens to me with bf3 so I don't think it's very important but just in case I report it)
5)As for my hardware I have a 620W power supply (bought specifically to be able to use my graphics card) NOX NX RED FAN (Info-Coste - POWER SUPPLIES - FA 620W · Info-Coste - Computer Stores)
My processor is: Intel core i7 3770 (4 physical cores and four virtual) each at 3,4ghz
My motherboard is: H61H2LM3V1.2 (that's what's written in big letters on the board itself. Windows doesn't give me any information ?
If you need more information just tell me and again thank you very much for taking the trouble to help ?

I've seen your other videos, especially the one about Bioshock, where the character's "myopia" is even worse, and in both the fault lies with the LOD processing that these applications do.
But the worst part is that it happens both in nVidia and in ATI, regardless of the model and manufacturer, and apparently there is no "official" solution, but rather suggestions to solve the problem through mods or console commands.

            !

However, you mention that this happens to you "recently", so I don't know if you mean that before, even playing the same games, it didn't happen to you; or that you just didn't notice.
It would be convenient to clarify this point, because if it has resulted from a driver installation, perhaps an older version could solve the problem (I always recommend having the one that comes with the components on hand).
It would be enough to uninstall the current ones, clean the remains well with a software for this purpose (the DriverSweeper for example, and reinstall the ones from the disk.

I'm sorry I can't give you a direct solution, I can only recommend that you try tinkering with the settings both in the nvidia control panel and in the games (vision distance always at the top).
Apart from that, you can also play a bit with the settings of the RivaTuner.

              emmmmmmm
I have never uploaded any videos, in fact what I have sent you before are videos from other people not mine but what I come to say is that I do not know if it happened to me before since I did not notice, I realized 15 days after having this graphic and I have already tried with the factory drivers and with the versions of the last 2 months. In any case, if this problem has no solution as such, could we at least ensure the possible artifacts? if you need any specific capture I can put it here

Well, it would help a lot, both with the artifacts and the LOD threshold in the games you mention, to know up to what point it affects you.

Edit: The videos, I just assumed they were yours to illustrate the problem. ?

Well, the LOD is visible, but as for artifacts, I haven't noticed any. What I didn't like (because it's not normal) is that if you don't lower the frequency after a while it throws an error. As for the issue of artifacts, if they appear (in the previous message there is a link with examples) they can be caused by several reasons, ranging from lack of power, high temperature, GPU / VRAM clock frequency poorly adjusted or defect in the card. If in the branch of the power supply that goes to the graphics card you only have this one connected (which is highly advisable), unless the power supply is broken you shouldn't have problems with lack of power. Likewise, if the working temperature of your graphics card is not very high and the frequencies are basically factory (except for the issue you mentioned), then we could be talking about a faulty card. I won't insist more on the issue of software and drivers, because you have already explained to me that you checked it. And this is as far as I can go. :ugly: Edit: Errors in the shading, such as flickering or striped shadows are caused (in this magnitude) by a "clipping" effect when a texture interferes with another (in this case the projection of light or shadow. However, this is not an artifact issue.

Well, thank you very much for addressing my doubts, indeed I think that the power supply branch is only dedicated to it and the temperature does not rise above 50º so I hope that the graphics card is not broken since apart from the shadows the rest of the graphic experience is very good.
As for the underclock, it is not something that worries me especially since I have read that many users have had this problem in Windows 8 (the OS I have) and it is not something that happens with the rest of the games.

Anyway, I will look around to see if I can fix the LOD, just one last question (assuming that physically the graphics card is fine, would it be worth resetting the bios?)

If we start from the assumption that it is currently well configured, it would serve to make sure that it really is.
Have the manual for your motherboard (EliteGroup H61H2LM3 Rev1.2) on hand, particularly the section on the BIOS.

The motherboard's bios has nothing to do with what the graphics card does. The bios recognizes the graphics card and allows it to function, but your problem is either that the game is misconfigured or that the driver or the geforce experience changed something, that's why it's not working. I would change the driver now that a beta one has come out and before installing, I would clean up the leftovers or even when installing the driver, I wouldn't install the geforce experience, I would check the correct installation box, I would put this driver to see.

                          NVIDIA DRIVERS 326.80BETA

that's for window 7 and 64 bits. For another system, you'll have to put another one if your system is 32 bits.

I have already updated the drivers to the new beta version (thanks for letting me know).
However, the problem persists and what's more, it persists in ALL games without exception.
I had already removed GeForce Experience before creating this topic, but as I say, the problem persists.
I am still looking for a solution, although I have a question (I don't know why I'm asking if it's impossible for what I'm going to ask because of the YouTube videos...) Could it be that all this about the distance of the shadows was caused by some kind of damage when I did the overclocking as I explained before? I'm asking because I've seen that when increasing the mesh quality, the distance increases but it stays at what would be the graphics at the minimum of a PC without this problem. Anyway, if you can help, thank you.

I don't think the OC would cause that, the normal thing is artifact, freeze and when you restart it goes back to its stock state, maybe it's damaged, if you use the warranty don't say anything about the OC, just say that the card doesn't represent scenes well.

You can even take advantage of this to change it for another one by putting a little money, something more powerful, the 660 was recently at 165€ if they deduct what you have for your card, you might be interested, it should perform much better in BF3, although depending on where you buy it.

                                regards
