OC Nvidia Geforce GT 610
-
Hello, I was given this graphics card as a gift: GIGABYTE. GT610 DDR3 2GB 64BIT VGA+DVI+HDMI LP :: APPInformatica.com ::, it came with the Gygabite OC Guru II, I would like to know if overclocking this card would void its warranty and how to do it properly (how many MHZ to increase: ImageShack
- Online Photo and Video Hosting ), or if it would be better to change the processor (E5800) or increase the RAM (4gb, 3gb usable by Windows 8). The temperature of the card ranges from 43-50 degrees (idle, with secondary fan, 38-42, without it, 42-45, with videos up to 50)

I don't think it's worth trying, and if you can, try to return it and buy something better by paying the difference.
For ~80€ (putting 30€ more), you have HD7750 that are already something minimally decent.
Salu2!

I fully agree with Fassou's opinion, the GT610 are entry-level graphics, and very weak, besides as you can see it is the 64-bit version, and it will work for very basic things, HD video of course but in games or things like that, unless they are not very old titles... the best thing is what Fassou says about putting a little more money to have something decent like the 7750 from Ati or a 650 from Nvidia.

hello
it's not the same as in this other branch:
Nvidia Geforce GT 610 - HardLimit
come on, in both they tell you the same thing, in the other Fjavi and in this Fassou.

The bad thing is that it came to me open and it can't be changed, in the cd it came with Gygabite OC Guru II, I have tried with this:

Is this okay? I know I can't get the most out of it, but for the games I use with it, boosting it a little more for the moment is enough, when I can I'll go changing the whole PC
