      Hello everyone.

I've been thinking for a while about changing my case to a Nox project X2, one gets tired of seeing the same thing every day ;-). For those who haven't seen it before, here you can see it. The first cooling I did was this as you can see everything is poorly presented, I hope that this time I can do something much better.

The idea I have is to put everything in a single case, 3 pumps, reservoirs, 1 radiator 3x12, 1 radiator 9x12 and all the PC components. For this I have chosen the following case, I'm excited to have something like this:

As you can see the case is a mountain mods ascension, here we see it on the official page. Has anyone bought from this page??? From what I've read in other forums it's reliable. The only drawback will be going through customs.

This is a project and I still don't have clear ideas of how I will do everything, I hope you all can help me out, thanks in advance.

      About the case:

Spacious tower and at the same time large. In the front I will put the 9x12 radiator by bringing the air inside. In the bays I will put a dual sloop EK reservoir that I already have and monitoring of the fans.

In the back, I will place two power supplies, one for the hardware and another for the R.L system, fans and lighting. Right now I have a 4x12 radiator for the motherboard that I will replace with a 3x12 to place it in the back and cool the board. There would be two spaces left to put two fans to draw or push air flow.

Left side cover, would be transparent with the idea of lighting everything inside and giving a view from the outside, as well as the top cover.

The right cover, we would have several configurations: The idea right now would be to use it to place fans and push air out. The cover is based on 2 configurations (4) 4x12 or (1) 9x12 (1)4x12 possibility of placing radiators in the future, or maybe I will place them in this cover….. still to be decided.

Inside the configuration will be with the motherboard in horizontal position, what I would like is to divide the case into two, below we would have the pumps, radiators etc and above the components. To pass the R.L tubes I would use wall passes.

The color of the case would be black crystal. I will combine it with blue.

Things I need for the project:

12mm fan: The fan blades should be transparent or blue, and with LED lighting to give more color to the case.

Tubes: Here I am also undecided about mounting rigid or flexible PVC tubes. Right now I think about mounting them in flexible PVC. I have seen some images mounted with rigid ones, and the truth is that it's wonderful to see those photos, but I don't know if it really catches my attention. The tube would be 20 mm UV blue to illuminate with LED. What liquid would you use for this tube??
      Example here.

3x12mm radiator: I don't have a preferred brand, what I do ask is that it is thick so that it cools as best as possible, here in the south it gets quite hot.
      Example here.

      Fittings etc:

Regarding the fittings, they have to be 19x13mm and black.
      Example here.

Reservoir: I have a reservoir for an EK dual sloop bay, but I would like to mount two more cups in the back of the case, one for the GPUs and another for the PCB.
      Example here.

      Grilles for the fans:

Sleeving: Within the sleeving branch, I have several doubts, I'm a newbie at this... I'm going to modify the UPS cables to measure, SATA, CPU, PCIe cables, etc., I've seen more than one tutorial explaining how to do it. Well, my idea is to mount all the UPS cables in blue, black and maybe UV. I will sleeve the SATA cables and try to leave everything positioned in the best way with cable ties.

Finally, what should have been first is the case. Until I have the case at home I won't start ordering all the rest of the material for assembly. I suppose the project will be extended between one thing and another but I hope to leave everything to everyone's taste and above all mine XD.

I love that Ruru case, in fact I had a "homemade" one, I don't know if you've seen that mod, I'll leave you a link, so you can get ideas and of course any questions about it, you know where to find me. ;).

        This was mine BlackM0d

In my opinion it's perfect for RL, I changed mine because an XL-Atx motherboard wouldn't fit, the Big Bang I have. Being homemade, I didn't think about that when I made it and then modifying it was a big job from the base of the motherboard to the entire panel, so I changed it.

I don't plan to miss this mod, I'm signing up...!!!

        Regards...

Hi Jotole, yesterday I was talking to pakitoesp about the tower, I was going to call you to ask you about it but paco got ahead of me.

I've been talking to several pages to see if they can get it for me somehow, but apparently there's no way. I've contacted Mountain Mods but I haven't had a response from them yet. From what I understand, if I buy it from the official website, between shipping, customs fees and whatever they want, it will be priced exorbitantly.

This morning I was able to talk to a colleague to see if we can make it ourselves, and from what I understand it seems like we can. I'll see if I can get my act together a bit with work and talk to him about making it. My idea is to make the plate where the motherboard goes XL size, and extend it to divide the case into two. Do you still have it?? He told you that because they sell that plate alone, with the option to mount XL.

For now, I'll leave it here when I have any news.

          Hugs.

            @Ruruloko:

Do you have it in Madrid in 1 day? and now to wait 3 months for the notarial paper, as happened to me with a hard drive that I sent under warranty to Holland, and that I am still waiting for since May.
Customs crap for the Canary Islands.

Today I got in touch with ups, and they confirmed that tomorrow during the day I will receive it. It is supposed that I have already passed customs. How can they have a package for 3 months because of the notarial paper….. there are not enough notaries XD, you have to take it with patience because if not :wall:.
If everything goes well, it has taken from the USA to Spain 4 days.
Tomorrow we will know for sure.

                    Best regards.

I've already received it!!!!!! I haven't opened the box until tonight when I got home.
For those interested, the Tris sli bridge is already available from EVGA and also the controller Aquaero6.

                      Here is the Mountain ?
I'll leave you the first impressions when I open the contents of the box. I've had a complicated day, so I'll continue tomorrow.

And for that price.. do you also have to assemble it yourself? ?

                          It's pure envy :troll:

For this price it should come with something more :osvaisacagar: I know they made a mistake and didn't include it in the package XD, I'll have to claim it ;).

I've been assembling the box structure or (skeleton) XD. I haven't put the melamine panels on it so as not to unwrap the plastic in order not to cause any damage, until the end of the assembly. It's an amazing box, super spacious and not to mention the thousands of configurations that can be chosen, both in panels and the filling of it.

I have to make a modification to the legs where the motherboard panel rests, because in one of the side panels, it almost touches and prevents me from putting fans in that panel from the inside of the case, from the outside I could put them but I want to leave everything inside it.

The best part is that it allows you to add a couple of extra fans :troll: and they don't even come with them.
I think the best part is that you can build it however you want, and the placement of the plate for those of us who can't stop gaming is the best.
You can fit a phase change with an RL for each component separately and there's still room for the cat. The only thing I could possibly fault it for is the paint, which if it's aluminum it dulls it a bit, but that's just me being extremely picky.

Up to 26 FAN:facepalm: A few extra ones... You see how it is, there's room for the cat, the neighbor's dog, and I still have room to mount the RL.
It's aluminum and it does dull it a bit, but the good thing is that you can take it apart and repaint it, and it looks like new.

                                  Just SPECTACULAR... :love::love::love:

I love that case, what radiators are you going to put in it??

                                  Enjoy the build... ;).

I'm also in love with it ;D
I'm looking into the possibility of putting 3 Black ice gt in the front for the GPUs and in the back Black ice sr1 for the CPU-PCB.
This morning I was talking to my friend Gustavo to place an order for all the Racords, tubes, radiators, etc...
I'm going to use 12/10mm acrylic tubing, and there are a few other things I still need to get...
Let's see if they get back to me about everything and I'll keep updating.

                                  Best regards.

Good choice, Praimus has got some Black Ice too, and they are wonderful radiators, more expensive than the "normal" ones, but worth every cent….....

And about the choice of the store, what can I say to you ;). I think they are the best professionals of RL, that you can find........!!!

I have this a bit on hold due to lack of material, specifically the Fitting Bitspower for the acrylic tube. Let's see if materials arrive and I update the thread.

Has Pramius created any thread about the radiators to see them??

What can I say that you don't know about Pcrelic, I had barely dealt with them until now, they have been very attentive and solve any RL query.

                                      Best regards.

Don't worry, that's the problem we always have in the Rl's, that we spend ;), the material. But don't worry that Gustavo keeps you up to date with everything that arrives…. ?

Hello, as you know, I have this stopped due to lack of material, if nothing happens by the end of next week or the beginning of the other one, I hope that some orders will arrive for me.

Thanks to Gustavo from Pcrelic, he has made it easier for me to bend the acrylic tubes. First of all, we need the right tools for it, which consists of a saw, sandpaper and silicone cord 10x12mm, hot air gun. We have to apply oil to it so that it slides, so that we can take them out after bending the tube.

A video from PrimoChilll where they teach us how to do it:
