E330 ION vs E350 HD6310 vs Dual Core C70 HD 7290

With a C60 that is identical to the C70, you can barely move the Source engine; 18-30 fps with everything on full on Linux, which is insufficient to have an acceptable experience (even for me who is not very delicate).

The C50/60/70 is especially interesting because it has a very good performance/consumption ratio but the performance in absolute terms is not good for certain tasks.

1* The consumption, mainly is a device for downloading and viewing multimedia content. With the one I have right now, the part of downloading and viewing multimedia is more than enough. So mainly I'm looking for something that consumes very little because sometimes it spends 4 or 5 days on, downloading.

2* The size, it has to be more or less in those sizes because there is no more space where it is installed (behind the tv).

3* The games, the thing of running games (pro and fifa) is only 1 or 2 days a year. For now with mine I'm getting by to get by with those games, so if the new one is a little better I think I'll be decent already. Anyway, if it doesn't serve me I'll consider buying a second-hand ps3 or xbox360...

CONCLUSION* I haven't found anything more powerful in those sizes. So if no one adds any other option in those sizes, the decision to make is between those 3 devices. I remind you that mine is already at home and I use it daily, but now they give me the option to hand over mine and for little extra money get one of the two I put.

Any more opinions about which one is the best?

A console won't consume less and you can't adjust the power saving, what I would do is this: Lian Li PC-Q12 (-only one note) - [H]ard|Forum A haswell with a mITX and a 7750 LP that is coming out for 320€ with 8GB of RAM counting that you take advantage of the HD and the case are 100€ and it comes with power supply, plus the work of opening space for the graphics. But you have 10 left for power/consumption/space, it takes up more or less what a DVD.

If your case does not allow for dedicated graphics, the best options would be more powerful APUs from AMD, such as the A4, A6, A10 series... but in terms of power consumption, they do not reach the level of the ones you propose. Then, as others have mentioned, a low-power Haswell, which generally have worse graphics, but for basic use, the micro will be much more powerful, and perhaps even better for gaming than the ones you propose, but you would have to look for and study comparisons.

I for my part would go for the C70 because according to the data you have given, it has a 40% higher graphic performance than the Atom Ion and the consumption is kept very tight.

But as I told you before, I don't know to what extent it will give a sufficient performance for those games you mention.

Atom (micro only): 8W
GeForce 9300M GS: 13W although I am not sure if it is exactly the same as the one that comes with your chipset.
C70 (graphics and micro): 9W
E350 (graphics and micro): 18W

An E2-2000 from the range you're looking for would be the most powerful, but I still think that for 3D it's a bad performance/price, and it has nothing to do with the performance of an A10 (and that's not the best either). It's better to wait for the next range of APUs that should supposedly arrive at the barebones as well.

Although of all 3D in that size there is still nothing decent, spending money to continue with something very poor is something to think about. That is, if there is, the ULVs, but they are much more expensive than these cheap portable range processors.

To comment that the consumption of 8w, which are the smallest, lit all month would cost about 80 cents of electricity. While one of 20w would cost about 2€ per month. So I don't care about any power, just that it is below 30w or so.

At medium quality it also works perfectly. And at high quality it occasionally stutters. So for playing at low or medium quality it's perfect. A good machine!!!

PES2014 does not run at the minimum resolution and quality. So I think I will end up buying the PS3.

I think it's the best option unless you opt for a low-power micro like the i3-2100T (I stayed there, sorry, I'm outdated :ugly:) and put a decent dedicated graphics card, which don't consume much in idle these days.

But at the current price of the PS3, that option will be cheaper and with fewer headaches.
