Computer for 600
-
Alright guys I already have the money, but since some time has passed some things have probably changed so if you can recommend a new setup? merci!
In the end I'll also get a new case.
-
4 gigabytes of RAM are not scarce for audio editing?
-
If true, the thing would be 16, I don't know why because I have 4!
-
Ayudita?? Hago la misma configuracion que hay por ahi escrita? -
If a 212 EVO doesn't fit in your case, I would change it, starting from this: http://xtremmedia.com/?q=cconfig/view#A011653,A001648,A002314,A001243,A011562_op,A012650,A012629,A002110 (If you prefer performance, look at the NOX Coolbay SX, it's noisier because it's more open but has more comfortable filters and comes with 2 fans) If you want to stretch more, you can go for a K but in that case I would go from lost to the river an HR-02 in pccomponentes and starting from a LanCool K58 that already includes the cooler: http://xtremmedia.com/?q=cconfig/ficha/A003415 Thermalright HR-02 Macho Rev.A HR-02-MACHO-REV.A Fan/Cooler You could also order the SSD from pccomponentes as it's in stock and a bit cheaper. You can get the memory 10 euros cheaper at pccomponentes: Kingston HyperX Genesis DDR3 1600 PC3-12800 8GB (2x4GB) CL9 KHX1600C9D3K2/8GX DDR3 Memory I suppose they will hold 1600 with the series voltage, if not, give it a bit more. You can also get them a bit more expensive and faster: G.Skill Ares DDR3 2133 PC-17000 8GB 2X4GB CL9 F3-2133C9D-8GAB DDR3 Memory I put the low profile ones, if you get one with the cooler a bit higher, you could have problems mounting 4 modules with the HR-02. I just saw that the Crucial 1866 on Xtremmedia cost almost the same, if you opt for the config with the 3770 asking for everything in the Extremaduran, get the fast ones. PD: I just saw the Hyper T4, they are 7mm lower and at least you get a 12 fan, it could be worth it to recycle the case if it lacked a bit of width for the EVO. -
Perfect, I will look more closely at all of this! I had thought about buying all of this at some good store that doesn't overcharge for BCN, on Sepulveda street and such, and that they assemble it for me, because I'm afraid of assembling the board and I don't want to risk everything exploding! hehe
-
If you find something with a similar price, perfect, support the small business, and you'll have a place nearby to complain. If you see it going for much more, order everything from Xtremmedia:
I suppose they will put it together without a power supply, which isn't very complicated, it's just connecting a "micro" cable, another to the motherboard, 3 SATA for the drives + burner, and so on. The fan that comes in the front, better to put it in the back, it wouldn't hurt to change the side panels either, and if you want performance, the NOX Coolbay SX case, in this one you would move it to the bottom front, you would have to connect a 4-pin molex to the rehobus (fan control).
PD: I slipped up with the Crucial, they are 1600 as well, apparently the same model but a little more expensive :ugly:
-
And a friend recommended this motherboard to me, what do you think? Asus z87k costs a little more, but I don't know the differences! merci!
-
With the 4770 and with a modest budget as if you are going to a B75, there is some decency, after all to take it as standard... http://xtremmedia.com/?q=cconfig/view#A011653,A001648,A002314,A001243,A011562_op,A012650,A007068,A018967,A019588 -
Great, do you recommend any store on Sepulveda street in BCN to get all my equipment? merci!!
-
It's that there are so many... I don't know which one will be better!!!
-
No idea, many of us buy online around here.
One of the well-known online stores is in Barcelona:
-
Well I stopped by LIFE on Sepulveda Street, it was the store that matched the internet prices the most! So it's almost decided!
-
I already have the components almost decided, in the end my budget will be tight but it will be worth it.Asrock X79 Extreme6 - Motherboard
Intel Core i7-4770K 3.5Ghz Box
Samsung 840 Evo SSD Series 120GB SATA3
Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 2TB SATA3 64MB
Cooler Master Silencio 450
I already have a power supply from 3 years ago Corsair 650w
I already have a DVD/disket reader
Graphics card (for now) is the one on the motherboard
And I'm stuck on the RAM part, I want 16 gigs but I don't know which one to choose...
The Asrock motherboard accepts this:
- Quad Channel DDR3 memory technology
- 8 x DDR3 DIMM slots
- Supports DDR3 2400+(OC)/2133(OC)/1866(OC)/1600/1333/1066 non-ECC, un-buffered memory
- Supports DDR3 ECC, un-buffered memory with Intel® Workstation 1S Xeon® processors E5 16xx/26xx/46xx series socket LGA 2011
- Maximum system memory capacity: 64GB*
- Supports Intel® Extreme Memory Profile (XMP) 1.3 / 1.2
What do I do? merci! :wall:;D
-
You messed up with the Motherboard, because you put a model for the LGA2011 platform (socket), with a processor for LGA1150.
I understand that you want an ASRock Z87 Extreme 6 instead of an ASRock X79 Extreme 6, as you put above, because the LGA2011 platform is much more expensive.
About the memories, a G.Skill RipjawsX 16GB PC3-12800 Kit for ~133€, can be a good option.
Salu2!
-
Right! hehe!
-
G.Skill Ripjaws X DDR3 1600 PC3-12800 8GB 2x4GB CL7 F3-12800CL7D-8GBXM DDR3 Memory
These have CL7 latency, so I think I'll do this 2x4 gigabytes and over time I'll get a couple more or I don't know yet we'll see. What do you think?
-
Those memories would serve you perfectly, but remember that when you want to expand you have to buy another pair of memories exactly like those, or replace them with others of greater capacity, like the ones I recommended or larger.
Salu2!
-
Alright already I'm almost a bore I know it! :wall:
ASROCK Z87 EXTREME4 - Motherboard (I'll stick with the 4 instead of the 6)
CPU Intel Core i7-4770K
G.Skill Ripjaws X DDR3 1600 PC3-12800 8GB 2x4GB CL7
Samsung 840 Evo SSD Series 120GB SATA3
Seagate 3.5" 2TB SATA3 BARRACUDA
Corsair Hydro Series H90 /!!FAN CHANGE!!/ GOOD OPTION?
Power supply I ALREADY HAVE from 3 years ago Corsair 650w (Will it be too SHORT for me?)
DVD/disket drive I already have
Graphics the one on the motherboard (for now)
Give your opinions and I'll close the thread already merci!
-
I don't see the Hydro H90, because spending ~80€ is a lot, considering the Cooler Master Seidon 240M is 87€, and probably the stock cooler will cover your needs, but if you think you need it :mute:
Regarding the micro, I would save some money by choosing the i5 4670K, but I also don't know if you need an i7 for your programs.
Everything else is OK!
Regards!
